- Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 3 June 2024. In this video, we start with the snow that fell in Bloemfontein in South Africa today. We show more of the flood of the Swartkops River at Despatch. The cold front hit Vryheid in the Northern KwaZulu Natal. Then, flying out of George on flight FA259 to OR Tambo International Airport. We then visit the Waterberg Game Park and watch an elephant kiss a man at the Elephant Sanctuary in Hartbeespoort. Then, show Durban and the King Shaka Airport in the KwaZulu Natal Province of South Africa, and we visited several more places across South Africa.

We had a tornado in the Utrecht area back in the 1990s. It's not common but has happened before.

Two... if I'm not mistaken
Tongaat was devastated
Two tornados
Yes two tornados hit. One hit Utrecht and Newcastle, the second bigger tornado hit Tongaat the worse and other surrounding areas were affected but not so badly as Tongaat itself. My community of Isipingo in Durban collected items like beddings, men's/ladies/kiddies clothing, bottled water, tracksuits, diapers and whatever else the people generously donated and myself together with the chairman of our CPF went to Tongaat today and distributed the stuff to the community since most were left homeless. I cried as I made videos of the after effects of the tornado hitting. They also had hail literally the size of golf balls that did damage. South of Durban we just had extremely heavy rainfall, hectic thunder, lightning and strong winds. From what I read and heard, there's another storm that's going to hit that will cause as much damage throughout SA.
