Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 20 May 2024. In this video, we start at the works on the roadside near Bothaville in South Africa today. Beautiful sunset over the lagoon in Sedgefield. We watch the waves at Aston in the Western Cape. Then, a misty day along the coast of Port Nolloth. The fishing at Fish Hoek Beach. Then, we walk around Blair Atholl in Lanseria, which shows that autumn has arrived with trees dropping leaves in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. Flying from East London to Johannesburg with the sunrise. We spotted an elephant and big buffalo herd at Shitlave Dam near Pretoriuskop Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park, and we visited several more places across South Africa.
Here's a detailed weather forecast for South Africa today: Today, South Africa is experiencing pretty intense waves happening along the coast between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas in the Western Cape Province. These waves can be dangerous for people on the rocks and make it challenging to navigate at sea. Be prepared for extremely high fire danger conditions in certain areas of South Africa. These include the extreme north-eastern parts of the Western Cape Province, the central parts of the Northern Cape Province, and the western and central interiors of the Eastern Cape Province. Stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to prevent fires.

Lekker, lekker, so baie pragtige herinneringe Volksie bussie, stoomlokomotiewe, boerefeeste, die kerk in Graaf-Reinette en nog baie. Het in Okt. 2022 die NG-kerk in Burgersdorp besoek, waar ek in 1972 getroud is. Het in Blikkiesdorp, waar my skoonma gebly het en ek gevry het, rondgery en bekende plekke besoek, maar dinge was baie anders, nog redelik netjies, maar plek-plek verwaarloos en die dorp was nie besig nie. Die kerk se koepel het verbrand en was onder herstel, so die kerk was binne-in "leeg" en gladnie so pragtig soos op ons troudag nie.
Ai, hoe lekker om hier saam te kan kuier. Daai "Emerald Dover" stofie, (by 13:08) is nes die een in my Ouma se kombuis op Oupa se plaas "Goedehoop" in die Amalia omgewing. Wanneer ek daar gekuier het was my slaapplek in die kombuis en is ek vroegoggend wakker gemaak wanneer Oupa sy koffie op die Primus kom maak het, met water wat lankal al half-warm was van heelnag op die Dover staan waar die vorige dag se harde hout kole nog gegloei het. Dankie vir lekker herinnering "wakker maak"! 🙏😃
