I was at that International Convention in 2018! That's me singing tenor in this vid! I was competing with the Tampa Bay Heralds of Harmony chorus, and one day I caught these three gents and asked to sing with them. This performance is my tribute to the late, great Gene Cokeroft, tenor of the 1961 quartet champions, The Suntones, who had recently passed away at the time. Geno, as he was called by many, was an amazing barbershop tenor, and a singer I still consider a great influence and inspiration in my musical life. I will always remember and cherish the moments I got to see and speak with Geno in person, as well as this performance I had with Instant Classic. I would like to personally thank the members of Instant Classic who were present at the time of this recording for giving me the time and opportunity to sing with them and bust some chords. Theo Hicks, Kyle and Kohl Kitzmiller: this was, and still is, a moment I will never forget for the rest of my life. You made that week in Orlando so much fun for me when you brought me outside the convention center to sing this song with you. A few years have passed since that grand week, but I still come back to this video frequently to relive this Gold Medal Moment. I hope you're all doing well and still busting some chords, boys!
    Sincerely,
    Kyle Candelaria

you're so amazing at singing, man -- you mixed so well with the others and as a bass who wishes they could be a tenor, i am amazed
also love the name, makes me nostalgic for when i was in the fandom :3
