Please don't add obnoxious music to your videos. Simply hearing the sound of the runners is one of the many things that makes sweatelite unique.
Thanks for the feedback. Just playing around with a few things, appreciate the kind words, Angus.
Wait a minute, another Angus, what are the odds!?
@@sweatelite elegant reply. The music was great
Agreed, not a fan of the music
Agreed. Not a fan of the music. Sounds really cheesy
I agree with the other comments saying to ditch the music. The lack of music in your other videos makes it feel more raw and more real. It also differentiates you from Flotrack's workout wednesday videos.
Great to see Richard on the channel. I really enjoyed watching him win the European Championships in the summer and his recent Sweat Elite podcast too. I hope we'll see more of him throughout his build up.
I know you didn't ask, but I liked the old production values waaaay more. I will continue to watch regardless, probably, because this is still the best content.
Richard is Europe's fastest 100m Marathon Sprinter!
awesome shots! i like the thought of music during the cool shots / b-roll and no music for the talking/interviewing and workout/running portions
Exactly!
Nice one! Richard is a very humble guy and having met him several times personally, he’s also a great competitor and sportsman. I also find is approach to marathon training and training generally to be very interesting.
It’s pretty wild that he runs this workout „out of shape“ with such low lactate measurements!
I’m guessing he can go 2:07 or 2:06 for his Hamburg marathon if everything goes right 🔥🙏🏻
Thanks Jonathan 🥰
On the treadmill looking for motivation and sweat elite drops another bomb 💣 🔥
Wasn’t familiar with Richard before today, but this dude is instantly likable. Looking forward to following his progress/journey!
@@SavageDiarrhea2447 thanks for the tip! Going to look it up now
Brilliant 👏 he seems like a great guy! What a workout too considering he’s “not in shape” yet 😮
Really enjoyed this video! I now am going to see if I can find that purple Asics jacket, it looks awesome.
I think it's a good idea to experiment, but personally I do think the lack of music makes S.E. videos more appealing with the rawness as you feel as though you're there involved in the session as most can relate to the grind. Music also is personal in taste, so some may love it and some may hate it depending on the music chosen....so could risk alienating half your audience, just a thought ....feedback wise....
Good luck to Richard smashing out a 2:08, hope he achieves the Olympic qualifying time which is really tough and will surely exclude many smaller nations from even competing.
First 1km in an "easy" 3:07 pace ... I felt that deep in my very slow bones 😅🥲
same 😂😂
3:07 is slower than his marathon pace so it is extremely easy for him, crazy isnt it.
And the heart beat is about 144..mine is like that when I run like donkey
Great content, love Richard's approach and personality. It's not always about running, we need to rest our legs and do other cross trainings. I will incorporate 10X1km for my training.
Please remove the music...Hearing the Breathing, Footsteps and Surrounding Area Without adding Artifical Sound Is Crucial...I have always enjoyed your Videos because of the Authentic Engaging Sound Quality
Agreed! My personal taste would leave the music as well. 😊
Nice to see (my fellow German) Richard covered, here. Maybe one day I can work out with him... he warms up and I have my super exhausting tempo run alongside him :D
Also: working on Christmas? Matt, you are a beast!
With or without music... Thanks Sweat Elite team. Happy New Year to all of you!!!
agree, please no music; love just the sounds of the runners; sweat elite is the best!
I'm obviously not the runner Richard is. I did this session yesterday. 10x1km ( 400m 4.30 float ). Started at 3.40's for the first 5 and then brought it down to a 3.13 for the last one.
Great session and really makes you work around the 8th rep. I wish I could run 2.50-3 min pace. I'm just too old. HAHA.. Also, as others have said Angus, I'm not really a big fan of the tunes, but I also do appreciate you guys trying different things.
What are your pb's?
@@lulal1388 he's a 2:35 marathoner
great drone shot. For me a I find it relatable when hearing the sound of shoe thumping, makes me feel like I am there. If there was music/tune my preference would be a bit lower in volume.
Crazy with 140s pulse for 3:00 kms
these are so much more preferable without music.
hope to see some more raw sweat athlete content soon
Sound is goot this is motivate us and connect to video
Please sweat elite get a training video with Marc Tortell that will be a blockbuster and yung hurn music in the background when you already are in Germany
Danke yung hurn du bist der beste
😮wow
What is your lactac normal values?
And what should th lactac value when you try interval?
The music was great.
I really like your channel and videos but please don’t put any music in
💪💪🏃♂️🥰
May i ask - what model were the yellow asics RR was warming up in?
Cumulus 24
@@richardringer7400 thanks Richard - good luck with your race prep
Hi Richard. Can you still buy the metaspeed sky Tokyo version anywhere?
Please no music, don't try to fix a winning recipe you guys have!
Hi Daniel, subscribe to members-only zone to watch the video without music.
Link is in the description.
I miss my metaspeed sky tokyo.
i agree with the others about the music, don't like it over the running sounds, like the drone(?) shots, though
Clockwise running on tracks certainly seems to be taboo at Sweat Elite. There is a very small amount of warm-up, cool-down, recovery intervals, etc, but no timed running. This is definitely not CZcams policy. I could link a bunch of videos with clockwise laps. It must be Sweat Elite.
Personally, I like the music!
No music ruins it
music in this video very typical for youtube videoes. Real audio with sound of steps are more appropriate. Thanks for you job anyway.
I don’t care what people say I liked the edition of music it is fitting to Ringer a very humble man. Aswell the music wasn’t to load.
Maybe it is just me because I train alot but when I’m chilling and watching athletics I do not want to only hear the steps breath haha which I am so used to myself
Exactly.
Music. Love it or Hate it. I'm a fan of Sweat Elite because this is the only channel that consistently showcases current and up and coming runners.
Jackob ingebrigtsen warkaout Vedio
Not a fan of the music. Nothing more raw than hearing hard work pounding on the ground. Also not trying to be mean but i actually got out of full screen on my phone to make sure i clicked on a sweat elite video.
First 😉
Definitely ditch the music.
music killed the video 👎
mann the music is sickening
Seriously guys, the music sucks. One of your USPs was not having that generic crap in the background. It’s far less watchable this way
hate themusic
Corny music is awful
I think the music isnt too terrible, I would reccomend halving the volume of the music, or fade in/out during transitions and drone shots. Either way, amazing content. I wish I would run ''easy 3 min km repeats" 🥲
