Wow, dope training!
He’s a dope
Funny
Literal dope training 😂
Mo's running form should be preserve in Louvre museum...textbook perfect, pure work of art.
Another banger video.🔥
De looks really good, but he does rock back and forth a bit too much. Could have a more stable midsection when running.
Smooth as butter
@@paddywiggle there is like literally no sway. I’m not sure what you’re seeing
@@paddywiggle like paul chelimo
u dont know running then
GRACIAS
Mohamed has become one of my favorite runners to watch! I like how he sits in the pack patiently then slowly picks off runners one by one. Then he always revs up for his finally kick and goes all out to place on the podium! He has incredible discipline and always performs his game plan every race I've seen him run.
He really needs to get the lead out or I’m gonna have to start calling him Mr. Molasses.
400m 1 mn ?
@@molder2233 and how will that affect his performance? He's not going to run like you want
Another amazing video as always. I cannot even imagine how much time and effort go into these videos! Thank you for all of the videos, 100% best CZcams channel out there by far!!
Pretty easy to train like that when you are doping.
The sound of the feet hitting the track is just everything 🙌
Yes! And we must thank Sweat Elite for not putting useless music on top of it, as pretty much everyone else does...
The sound of the track is the one we like!
@voodoochile80 definitely my friend, 🫡
its wet xaxaxaxaxax
It's crazy that he's running here at 2'50/km but during his 5k record he was running at 2'30... astonishing !
Mind altitude

thats the secret, give evertything on the central day
Τhe train is 4x (5x400/10K pace) .There is a short recovery (30΄΄ walk) and a long recovery (3΄walk between sets) in which he is measuring lactate level.
Yeah. 3.5 mmol isn’t supposed to be hard.
no music is perfection. you feel like youre at the track. what a nice quiet place to put the work in
you just never stop getting content to us, great vlog (I assume you got this done while sorting yourself out for Valencia ) either pre or post race that is full on . Thank you
Vamos Mo! Really interesting the issues with the weather and how he handled it!
Fantastic job both of you! Many thanks for the video😄
I can't be the only one that read the Title and name and went... 🔥🔥🔥
Please do not start fires to celebrate new videos dropping. Arson is a serious crime.
Same broh....
🔥 🔥
@@maximusswagius7835 I alerted Smoky Bear. He's not happy.
7700 feet elevation: max VO 2 declines by 1.5% for every 1000 feet above 5000 feet one goes. His stride is very good, but it is not perfect as others say in the comments; if he strengthens his abs more, he will be able to get the tops of his hips into a faintly more posterior pelvic tilt and thus derive more power from his quads during the drive phase of his stride.
Thanks for the video!
Enorme Katir! Vamos por la medalla amigo🦿
Been a fan of Katir for a couple years, this video really brings the humanity home
"Go jar go jom" Mo Katir 2022 jajajajaja Que grande!! Eres una inspiración para los aficionados!
Absolute LEGEND!! “Go hard or go home”. Mo you definitely went HARD.
What a surreal environment to be training in!
Mejor atleta español de los últimos años💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Awesome video as always! Seeing Mo’s shoe selection for the slippery track got me thinking, if there is a way to ask and/or see if the athletes opt for custom inserts.
Great runner. I like this guy!
one of my favourite videos so far1
This guy is a beast. I would’ve been carrried out in an ambulance.
Katir is a fast fun guy! Thanks for the excellent video. Conditions seemed brutal! About the lactate, aren't they supposed to be lower at high altitudes or did I understand my physiology books wrong?
A good motivation for tomorrow morning run✌️✌️✌️✌️
Preparado para todo Mo!!!
Damn nice video, for personal reasons I was unable to run for almost full year. I did missed that pacing sound
Excelente persona katir. Un verdadero orgullo para España
Very motivational video.welldonel Katir. I pray that in future I also get such kind of encouraging life partner
olé you are a great champion I love the video and above all how you train in that cold temperature
Below 4mmol after a hard workout in hard conditions... Wow, what a beast! 💪💪. Thanks for these amazing videos 👌👌
Can U tell me why he measure his glucose? He have diabet or what?
@@SYPUHA he's measuring his blood lactate volume. It's a metric to be able to determine the intensity that the athlete is training. It is reflective of how the body is producing lactate and clearing the lactate as well.
@@damienureste2447 thank U!
Dale Mo, eres un fiera!!! 👏 👏 👏
Hello from California, excellent video
I love Mo Katir. Great powerful runner. He is even more beautiful when not running
Mo Katir is no joke, baby. 🔥🔥🔥
Excellent vid! What type/brand of lactate tester do you like to use? Thanks.
amo tus videos
his form is perfect
I have used this lactate metre, it doesn't like cold weather! Go for a lactate pro 2 instead.
Katir un gran atleta, felicitaciones y a coseguir muchos éxitos.
Grande Katir!
Great video! It would be nice if you would put the interval he is on in the video.
Very good video thanks so much
Go Hard or go home !!!!...grande Katir
3.3 Lactate is very nice Mohamed ... see you in Olympics flying!
Great video and katir wonderful athlete! But...What should be the range of lactate values in this type of work?
Lactate near his threshold +-0.2 as per last modern double threshold training, I think so
Busted!
Not just Spanish but he also inspires a lot of people around the globe ,i am one of them from india ,his running form is crazy
Good training let's go to victory
You know you’re good when people throw around doping accusations. Keep it up
Lol
no one talking about the beautiful translator?
Katir´s girlfriend
The best
Matt in these instances you can get someone you know to do a translation captions for the video. Or maybe a software could do it. I'm dont know what other options there are but I'm sure there are others to get a closed captioning translation. it's a good thing most professionals speak english but I'm sure it would increase the quality of your videos with the others. Great stuff love the content
Good idea but the conversation during the video would be challenging without a translator present
@@sweatelite Yes, definitely need a translator present, and she did a terrific job too. Of course, no simultaneous translation is perfect, and some of Mo's answers, e.g., regarding his diet, were long and she did not remember all the details, which is understandable. There was some small talk in the background, e.g., with Alberto's coach, that was not translated but, being a native Spanish speaker, I can tell you the content of those conversations was not very relevant. These are very minor details and, overall, the video is amazing. I really enjoyed it. I found it really inspiring given that I'm running everyday with similar weather here in the PNW.
Very good video
Grande katir
another doper
doper
I like this video
Seems like a really cool guy.
Katir 💪💪💪💪
Mo is coming for the 1500m crown. you can see it in him.
I would like to see more of the feet and stride than the upper body. Love your work and mission~
Anyone know what jacket(navy blue) he was wearing before he started his 20x400
I've never seen better running technique
What a beast!
I Know i ask a lot but if you can put subtitles it would be amazing
Exellente
just got caught for doping...that's insane!
mo katir is my insider for asics protos LMAO
What kind of doping was he doing? EPO or other?
When was the session?
Factoring:
Altitude
Weather
Quite bad track conditions
I think the effort of hist lasts 400m was ~ 10k pace. And he was barely touching (or maybe below if we believe the 4mmol lactate approximation applies to elite athletes) his LT2/threshold..
Anyone know how that Lactate Scout works?
love the translator buena traduccion guey jajaja
Blz, vou fazer esse treino
the way you two were looking at him,he must be feeling quite akward😅😂
so he starts each interval doen a running start instead of from a dead stop??????i doo mine from a dead stop......n what is the recovery between each 400????
So sad that he is now suspended!
Altitude 2300m and 🥶🧊🧊 Frío
Mohammed Katir seems like a fast runner
How often these 400m or 200m repeats should be included in 10k / 21k / 42k training plan?
That's a wide range of target distances 😜 I think you'd do short intervals rarely (monthly or every other month) in FM plan, slightly more often in HM plan and same for 10k. I don't know the paces you run but those are all aerobic distances. For us mortals aka regular runners tempo, long runs and longer intervals would probably be key workouts 2-3 times per week and then everything else really easy.
Anyone know what shoes the lady was wearing?it was purple and black
Ty sweat elite. Only jakob ingebritsen remaining and you will be the goats.
Like if u wana see a vid (or more) with ingebritsens training
any time Mo scraped his shoes against the track, I cringed a little 💀😂
does anyone know what he’s using for his blood
20 x400? My poor legs would fall off...I am going to have to try it for my spring '23 training block
This guy probably cleared most of his lactate while prepping his blood, crazy fitness
👍👍👍
What does it measure with that machine..? I want an answer from your shadow
🕰 work
What is the watch he is using?
Does anyone know what shorts he is wearing?
