My aunt got syphilis from her husband and didn't know. Lost her baby and almost died herself because he didn't have the guts to tell her. She could never have children because doctors had to remove her "lady parts" to save her life. Life is hard.

It doesn't matter who cheated first and with whom. What is important is that one person is sick and dying and the other partner is withholding information that could possibly save a life.
That’s why it’s important to know who cheated first and with whom lol. You need to know that to figure out possible STDs, incubation periods, what the cheatee may have been exposed to. Not only that but if you’re long term, it’s relevant legally for property division and other things

At the point that she is in the hospital, the husband should have come forward with the information to help with the diagnosis. If you are going to cover up your sin, then take it to the grave with you. So now we have a husband who is donating her body, not to save a life(the transplant), but to assure himself that he did not kill her.

I dont know about in medicine, but I work in an office handling corporate tax and accounting and having a colleague to question or contradict things is probably the best thing I could ask for and vice versa. By having multiple views and disagreements it's probably the best way to either explain why you're right and why the other person is wrong, or the best way to explain yourself from right into being wrong by finding your own flaws while arguing. It's a lot like when you try to explain or teach something to a kid from a subject you think you know, and while doing it you realize where you might have some gaps or contradictory facts in your basis of thinking.
Every no proven right and every yes proven wrong only builds the facts stronger and eradicates the falsities.
The guest actor who played the husband had one of my fav performances on House. He made it so believable that it made sense House couldn’t help but feel empathy toward him. And since this aired, any role this guy is in on other tv shows, he also absolutely kills. Real underrated actor right here.

Years ago, I was in a hospital for a minor procedure. The guy I shared a room with was much worse off than I was. At one point, a doctor came in to talk to him and I couldn't help but hear what the doctor said. It was along these lines: "Mr. (so-and-so), I'm Doctor (Something-or-other). I wanted to give you an update on your condition. Your (something) test shows signs of improvement, but we're concerned about (some other thing), so we're increasing your meds. Now, I'm sure they've already talked to you about your cancer diagnosis..."

Humans make mistakes
My X husband gave me an std after he had sex with a married couple in another state. He swore up and down he hadn't done anything with anyone until I had a miscarriage. I found out at the doctor's office it was because of that (most likely, you know how doctors are, they can't say definitely this or that, but come on 😐).

An STD can cause a miscarriage and of course, every doctor will mention that as a reason.

Nah that's not realistic at all. The gonorrhoea didn't kill her, the gonorrhoea caused the fever that led to the car crash however ultimately she was the one who chose to get in the car. Even when I was in a relationship I got tested every three months. So did my partner, until he stopped. I got suspicious, and found out that he was cheating. After I dumped him I found out that he had contracted an STD (not life threatening, but still…) I didn’t contract anything, and I’ve still never had any STDs/STIs.

Yea if the doctor is talking with the patient that would be very weird to interrupt. The only times I view it's necessary to interrupt doctor is when it's about financial related stuff, because often the doctors don't know how to handle that stuff..

He threatened to pull his $100M funding if house's department wasn't fired, so for a couple episodes House has to wear the white coat and was trying to test Cameron foreman and Chase to see which one he should fire.
(His eventual decision is that everyone kept their jobs but they ask took a pay cut)

I can only imagine. My Obgyn said she requires everyone to get tested during their annual exam even if they are married, in a committed relationship, etc. because sadly women can have no symptoms and often that's how you find out a partner is cheating.
There is a reason adultery is a bad thing.
My mother got an STD from her husband. He didn't tell her. She had a very slow and painful death. They were together over 50 years. I don't trust men now.

When I was pregnant with my second child, I was found to have a common STD. I never ever cheated on my husband. He brought home an unwelcome "gift". Now he is an ex-husband.
