Hi Simi, can u do a song for couples going through fertility issues and have spent fortunes on IVF to also look into adoption like our parents used to do (cos it was believed that ori omo Lo npe omo Waye) or consider surrogacy. I lost my closest friend to heart attack induced by trauma and societal pressure on child bearing. Ever since, my heart never stops bleeding to see women go though the pain of biological childlessness.
If you can use your voice to also educate people that a mother isn’t only a person who bears a child but a person who brings up and nurtures a child to be an asset to the society. I believe that through this gesture, you can heal/save many homes and parentless kids out there, and also make the world a better place.
If you are not Simi but reading this, and have a voice people or an influential person listens to, please do the same. Many women, family and kids out there are broken because of wrong beliefs in our society about who a mother is.
