Wow a man of the 1800s had salves in a time where it was not looked down upon, who cares if the man had slaves, look how many quote on quote "black lives” his hospital has saved
“Who cares if the man had slaves” is the craziest comment I’ve ever heard. Your logic is crazy.
Wow!! And he ate meat too!!! Down with him!!!

there was a law in Philly that if a slave had lived there for six months you become eligible to be freed from slavery sure enough GW planned on keeping his slaves so what he did he kept moving his slaves nearly 500 many times between Philly and mount Vernon back and forth that way the slaves lose their credit and have start all over again
Does he own Newport cigarettes? Y’all knew he was racist the whole time.
Stalking the Thomas’ too.
He was an angry abusive man.
Change university name to show your genuine concern about this bombshell and wihile you at it throw in Thomas Jefferson and George Washington into the mix old George here had nearly 500 slaves
The university and hospital were opened with the millions he left behind...he also left the land in which I believe he lived to be used for the campus. It wouldn't exist without him.
@@Eve_Y I see what you saying but slavery is unforgivable Gw was worst he did everything he could to deny his slaves freedom he moved them BTW mount Vernon and Philly so the will lose their Crider of be 0a000!0
@momo amen Slavery is a horrid practice and we can all agree (in the west) that it is. However, that does not erase the fact that all the good the university and Healthcare system was able to provide would have never happened without Hopkins. Same can be said about the United States and GW. Plus, isn't it of my understanding that those enslaved in Washington's hoursehold were actually under the title of his wife?
