Two questions: 1) Why is it so hard for an AI to produce the Starship Enterprise? 2) Why is Stella Mudd in that last scene?
i find its better to cross genera for Trek.. Like using it to mix TOS with other shows. Karate Kid seemed to work fairly well
It can reproduce It faithfully but not this time because he probably asked in the prompt to reproduce Enterprise mixed with a sci-fi 1970 movie context so the result is an hibrid of an object and a temporal design style. What it can't reproduce faithfully are the faces of famous people: there is most of the time just a 50-70% of them. But this is not a technical limit but a legal one related to Midjourney
@@sambas9257 prob depends on the AI you're using too.. I get a lot of weird stuff for trek like 5 spocks in 1 scene lol and its better with spock than kirk

Brilliant! It is my prediction that with AI new episodes can be created in seconds! Using the images and voices from the original series, an entire season can be generated in minutes. The possibilities for Trekkies are endless!

Had Roddenberry not had his incredible vision, this dreck could very well have been Star Trek - every tired old ‘50s sci-fi trope in one show. Lost in Space, which aired in the same era as TOS, is vastly inferior because it didn’t have Roddenberry’s vision. Roddenberry changed the course of so many lives, spurring young people to become scientists and pilots to further his vision. If one day humans do develop fleets of vessels to explore the stars, it will be Gene Roddenberry who gave us the blueprint. An amazing man.

Actually, Panavision was popular from 1957 to 1966. So, more of a late 1950s early 1960s thing.

I've been trying to make fantasy warriors with AI & it just cannot render realistic weapons, especially bows. If I tell it to do a simple battle axe, I end up with something impossibly huge & unwieldly, with weird, useless, spiky bits sticking out all over, same with swords. Also, it doesn't seem to get that humans have only five fingers on each hand...
No wonder that was never made!

Sorry, but AI renderings of pop culture stalwarts are beginning to rear ugly heads on way to be a problem. Cool that content creators are doing/making these...but; just want to say: watch a clip from TOS: A Private Little War when Kirk talks about the 20th Century issues/conflicts/philosophy in the episode. Just observations....
