Dead Rising 3 wasn't so bad, if you played coop Nick and Dick had the same dynamic as Frank and Chuck. But they really dropped the ball with Dead Rising 4, didn't even have coop.
Frank: "Just drop it, Chuck. Chuck: "Get your ass outta my face." Frank: "Back up, back up!" Chuck: "You're too close!" Frank: "I said drop it!" That whole sequence was hilarious.
I just can't get over how much more detail there is in these cutscenes than the other games. Their facial expressions are so full of emotion. Just look at Frank's face in the end one, you can clearly see the terror after his watch beeps. I could watch this over and over and never get tired of it.

I can only imagine how hard it was for Frank to know about Rebecca's death. Even if it's not canon, in Off The Record Rebecca and Frank seems to be actually more than just partners. All this scene where she says "Be careful, for me", she sounds so worried about him. They could be a really nice couple.
In the Road To Fortune comic that serves as a prequel to Case Zero, it's revealed that Frank and Rebecca *do* actually know each other. They first met soon after the Willamette outbreak during Frank's guest appearance on the station she worked for when Rebecca was just starting out in her career, and mentioned that she was very inspired by his story. Later on the two met again and teamed up to investigate the Las Vegas outbreak.
I love the fact that Frank calls Chuck "Rookie". It's really... Well, charming. And that high-five after blowing up the power... Man, these two had some real charisma and chemistry. I wish THIS was the Frank we got in DR4. Not an egotistical asshole who only cares about money and fame.

But they scrapped the idea of adding the facility into the core game and instead released it as DLC.

Honest, I can’t think of a better duo. I was in awe when I first played this. Chuck was pretty boring in DR2 but with Frank he is way more interesting. Frank is always a treat to watch and play as. (Ignoring Dead Rising 4). I think it would’ve been perfect if Dead Rising 3 was based on Frank and Chuck. Maybe start of as Chuck first half and last half you’re Frank, and as a reward, you get to play as who ever you want in a sandbox mode. Different move sets and everything. Then maybe the fourth Dead Rising could be the final where there’s a canon ending in which either Frank or Chuck sacrifices themselves. My favourite games in the Dead Rising series go: 1. I think the DR series are AMAZING! The storyline in the games are just so good and clean, the cutscenes in DR3 looked so hollywood movie like to me. I like how the characters from past games always make a cameo. It's like the GTA TRILOGY back on PS2, different story, different character, different city, but always bigger and better everytime with some kind of cameo and it's always connected in some way.

@@MrWii000 I remembered someone saying in reddit that they they theorize that in the Ending S events happened before ending A in which after Chuck killed TK, TK could've more or less have come back as a Zombie and followed Chuck back to the helipad leading to where to the events of ending A & case west. There might be some plotholes for that but it is the only idea that could make both overtime mode & case west canon.

Haruto Wu It was said in the museum where you fight Diego in Deadrising 3 that he became a zombie consultant and public speaker, and with that I think its safe to say that Frank's zombie killing days are behind him now. He was 51 years old during the events of DR3, lord knows how old he would be if and when the 4th installment comes out. If he were to ever appear again he be more as a side character doing things that the main character does not have the time to bother with or helping them in some other indirect way that does not involve directly assisting them in combat.

Adam Fasano idk I've been playing it and it's my 2nd favorite dead rising game right after 1. It has the best story in the series along with the best movement and controls. I will admit tho, there isn't really much to do outside the main story.

It had absolutely nothing to do wit dead rising 1 not counting DLC. 3 and 4 has many callbacks and ties to the first dead Rising.

Haruto Wu It was said in the museum where you fight Diego in Deadrising 3 that he became a zombie consultant and public speaker, and with that I think its safe to say that Frank's zombie killing days are behind him now.
He was 51 years old during the events of DR3, lord knows how old he would be if and when the 4th installment comes out.
If he were to ever appear again he be more as a side character doing things that the main character does not have the time to bother with or helping them in some other indirect way that does not involve directly assisting them in combat.
