Yeah! They can get very cool with the designs because I believe the bosses are entitled with the deadly sins! Which works really well! I think, I don't know if I'm 100% sure. I don't know if it's for all of the games. But I do know that it's in DR3.

For all it's quirks, I still think DR1 and DR2 are one of the most realistic representations of what a Zombie Apocalypse would actually be like; people losing their minds and scrambles for power.
Dead rising three is just the weakest example if I remember correctly. It still shows it, just not to the same degree.

When I first saw his death scene, I wished there was a way for Ted to be able to join Frank and still be able to take care of Snowflake.

Then his delusion that everything is normal kicks in and he wonders why someone would just walk into his kitchen, the only logical reason is that it's the scheduled reviewer (from before the zombies came) so he starts hamming it up to impress him. And you can get all that in a few expressions, it's great.

The first type you fight however,is a psycho-boss type,which I think is someone slightly sane,but at the same time crazy. Like Ted,who didn't have any friends until Snowflake,and,since he doesn't want her to die,seeks out survivors for her to eat.

What makes these villains more interesting than other games is the fact that most of them aren’t necessarily evil, but just driven insane by the situation they were faced with and the stress overtaking them. Theodore had no friends and only wanted to feed Snowflake, Leon was racked with jealously, Randy was a loner who went to the breaking point not wanting to die a virgin, Chef Antoine was stressed out of his mind preparing for the reviewer to rate his dish and the outbreak ruined his time to shine, Brandon was high as a kite, Mailman Carl’s perfect routine and attendance in the postal service was destroyed and caused him to go insane, Bibi Love’s obsession with fame and stardom, Sergeant Boykin losing his squadmates as his superiors left him and his men behind to die, Security Guard Seymour was tired of everyone pushing him around, Slappy losing the girl of his dreams who truly loved him, and Magician Reed was just a douche. It would’ve made for a very interesting feature in the game if you had the option to ally with at least one of the psychopaths and break them out of their insanity. I think Ted, Chef Antoine, and Sergeant Boykin would’ve made for the best companions (Chef Antoine’s cooking giving extra health, Sergeant Boykin’s military service providing the best cover against the hordes, and Ted and Snowflake just for the satisfaction factor), although this would’ve made the developers and VAs work overtime on animating and voicing different cutscenes with each individual boss as a companion.

Ted: He was mentally slow and everyone tried to dumb it down for him but he knew. The tiger was trained to be nice to humans and stayed with him.
Dwight: His soldiers were killed in front of him. The military was his life. He respected them and when they died, he went crazy from losing his friends.
Antoine: He only wanted to cook. When his passion was ruined, he went crazy. He wanted a perfect review. He tried his whole life to get one. He only wanted to please.
Roger: The other guy was crazy. He was forced to do tricks with him, and he hated it. He slowly went crazy every single day and had to put up with it. He didn't want to kill.

My favourite psycho is Bibi Love, it's just because they gave you the option to save her instead. But maybe Ted is the one the game should've let you save and have redemption.
Another thing I always found funny about Dead Rising was how empty they make the environment look in the cutscenes.

I genuiny feel bad for Ted. It's clear he has a bad experience with people mistreating him for having a disability or impediment of some sort, to the point of being enraged when someone mentions the word "slow" around him. Him being willing to feed Snowflake, his only friend, with his own body just goes to show that he's been pushed away from others and the apocalypse caused him to fully crack. I feel like if maybe Chuck had chosen his words a bit more carefully, that fight could've been avoided.
I hope the next Dead Rising game has cutscenes, music, bosses, and a simple HUD for loading screens very similar to this game.
