Thomas Walkup is a baller
My favorite March Madness game of all time
Mine also!
This SFA team was fantastic. I was sorry that they lost at the buzzer to ND the next round because they were a Sweet-16 caliber team. This game was NOT a fluke - SFA was by far the superior team.
I picked SFA over WVU and ND.
Walkup was awesome
Thomas Walkup forever
I remember the defense that that team displayed over the course of 16 minutes and it reminds me of the flying Illini, which had some great defenders as well.Kenny Battle, Nick Anderson, Efrem Winters and Deron Williams and Dee Brown in 2005
Who's here after Stephen F Austin beat Duke?
Reminded me of this game
SF Austin upsets everyone
Stephen F.Austin played like Golden State Warriors . I didn't expected that
😅😅😅but they shot 30% from the field?
skinsman82000 Many people say GSW is all about shooting from 3. To me that's bs. They are shooting team , but they play with attitude, chip on their shoulder , and teamwork always matters . That intangibles I saw in SFA that reminds me of GSW. You've seen this guy from SFA dribbling like Steph ? March Madness.
That was SFA's big strength. They knew how to play as a team. That is what Thomas Walkup will bring to the NBA if he gets the chance. He knows how to be a part of a team. Sometimes Walkup would score less than 10 points in a game and it wasn't because he was missing shots. He believed in the team and would make the high percentage play and pass it even if that cost him points in the books.
+setxfishing The Jacks were very stacked and cohesive as a team. The game should have been closer, but this was an easy upset pick for me.

That’s on WVU’s part, not SF Austins you idiot.
Im from WV and a big WVU fan, but I think Bob Huggins needs to emphasize on scoring more. Most of the points we have got last year and this year has been from turnovers and free throws. We have a hard time running an effective offense and creating our own shot. SFA handled the full court press well and got a lot of open looks. We cant score points if we dont force turnovers.
I do not see that game coming lol.. congrats SFA thou
+Robert Lind I expected the Jacks to win. They could have easily reached the elite 8. This was one of the easiest upsets I ever picked. The Mountaineers were a very good team in 2016, but the Jacks were stacked that year.
Great offense by SFA.
Walkup an Elite Passer A BIG STEAL in the draft will make any team better. A dude with a Kawhi Leonard Work ethic? Scouts should give him a good second look
To the Bulls he goes!
and now it's vacated...
I love basketball
West Virginia would not be good if they didn't press. What they do to other teams happened to them.
Wow!
In many of my brackets, SF Austin, Middle Tennessee, and Northern Iowa are my upsets.
Sometimes I’m right. Others I’m not. Cinderella’s, you never know what comes out of them.
SF Austin, Hawaii, and Northern Iowa were some of my many upset picks in 2016. SF Austin was the easiest upset to pick out of the 3.

That little guy is tiny
I had a gut feeling that the Lumberjacks would win. I was right.
NBAforlife8 Maybe if you watched SFU at all that season you'd have realized this Lumberjack team was really good, and not just a "fluke." Why not give credit where credit is due?
+NBAforlife8 How's the woodshed?
Lol

How often is the star player on a basketball team a white guy
