@@johnlee7377 yes 2014, 12 seed. 2015 12 seed. 2016 14 seed (should have been a higher seed beat West Virginia). 2018 14 seed.

What makes this upset even more impressive is the fact that Duke shot 23 more free throws than SFA, despite the fact that SFA scored 64 of their 85 points in the paint. In other words, they weren't getting anywhere near the amount of foul calls they should have been getting for the amount of times they shot from inside the lane, yet they still found a way to win.

Yes he does! Kee did some NBA tryouts over summer and received good feedback. He is the hardest working player (extra practice on his own, etc). So excited for him. Our conf POY contender.

Wow! You have to love college basketball; just for this reason.
It's unfortunate that the NCAA Tournament was cancelled that college basketball season due to Covid. I feel like Stephen F. Austin could have made a run in the tournament that year, they had a stellar regular season record and won their conference tournament. Unfortunately we'll never know what they would have been able to do in the big dance.
Did hear coach K in the press conference after the game, he sounded like he was gonna cry. I bet you he want schedule theses guy's again ha ha!!
I guarantee he won't. We worked for years to get Duke on our schedule. It will be very difficult to schedule teams next yr too.

SFA finished 28-3 won their conference but COVID ended there NCAA tourney dreams. But honestly SFA over the past 8 years is one of the winningest programs in DIV 1 you have never heard of.
I literally started crying when i saw the ending of this game....

I'm not a SFA fan, but I'm a diehard college hoops fan, so I know about them and how they've been relevant for several years now. People comparing this to the Evansville upset of Kentucky, when in reality SFA is way better than Evansville.

Once Again preseason rankings a few loses from the top four teams in the preseason polls. It's based off of recruiting not so much quality team talent all the time.

We got a cheesy radio announcer here in Arkansas that just loves the Blue Devils. I feel for his co host, because ole Joe is a super guy. Hard enough to listen to his show without hearing about Jerry Jones and the Cryboys and tripping penalties and now this. Biggest upset in college basketball history. Love to see the dagger deep in the heart but waiting to the very end so it hurts the most. Hopefully this guy will survive Thanksgiving.

Doesn't surprise me. Early in the season. Facing a team that plays solid fundamentals. Fast agressive offense. This kids were playing like it's March and Duke thought they could sleep walk. This win is well deserved. GG SFA we try to win with help from the refs and still lost. Great win.
