Dude really went from 6 months probation, petty drug crime imprisonment to 9 life 400+years after meeting Walter White and some people think Jesse was the bad influence to Walter 😂
I'm not a Walt defender but technically Walt would get no jail time before he met Jesse
@@sarahbarnes9648yea but walt actively seek out jessie and were the mastermind behind most of their crime so
Oh yes because he totally didn’t do it voluntarily too. I swear to god people are so desperate to point out "walters manipulation" that they completely remove Jesses agency like he’s actually retarded
@@superduy975??? He simply knew how to cook the best meth, jesse was the guy with the street knowledge. "Most" of their crime is definitely exaggerated, watch the show, jesse is entirely responsible for himself and I hate breaking bad fans acting like he isn’t, treating him like an autistic child evilly manipulated by the puppetmaster walt. Such a gross mischaracterization
he was a bad influence tho
Saul Goodman could probably reduce this to a probation and a 10 dollar fine
That does sound like the type of thing Kevin Costner would do

@@Bell-rf2kk Better call McGill.
All charges should have been done under new mexico's law code, but several of these were done under other state laws, such as the mutilation of a corpse being done under Wisconsin state statutes
I second this, they also brought up charges that weren’t brought up against Walter, such as Tax Evasion.
Also, jesse doesn't purchase a firearm in a sketchy way because drug addicts are banned from purchasing firearms, he does it so its not traceable back to him if he uses it in a crime.
@@coreythepeanutwalter didnt commit tax evasion
@@coreythepeanut Walter never evaded taxes. He laundered his money through Skyler and paid them.
He did commit tax evasion. You’re forgetting about the part of the show where he quite literally had too much money to launder so he buried it without declaring it. Around $80 million i believe.
Those 3 breaking and entering charges, the 2 trespassing charges, and the 2 illegal border crossing charges truly put the "Breaking" in Breaking Bad
IRS: "Look, we're not upset about where the money came from, we're just upset that you didn't give us our cut."
I like how some of the charges are the same ones that are given to Walter White because he was either involved with it or is with him.

@@GourmetJobSim it sure as hell is when it is done this way
There is no way that the second degree murder and grand theft auto in the finale of Breaking Bad would be seen as anything except self defense. Jesse was kidnapped and falsely imprisoned by those men.
That's why it's secondary and not first.
It'd be self defense if Todd attacked him first. Which in this instance Todd didn't, just killed him while Todd had his back turned
As for grand theft auto, imprisoned or not, it still doesn't justify him stealing a vehicle
Yeah, if it was another country maybe it would be murder but in freedom land🇺🇸🦅🦅🏈 it's 100% self-defence.
@@simpled5755 You really think any prosecutor would charge a kidnapping victim for murdering one of the kidnappers and stealing his car to flee the location he was imprisoned in? Let alone a jury convicting on those grounds?
@@Aramanela I feel bad for your country if kidnappers have more legal rights than their victims.
That's why the video is titled *"if* he was charged with his crimes..."
Wow, even with all of those crimes, Jesse’s fines are still less then Lalo’s bail
That’s actually part of Breaking Bad which is completely wrong and it is infuriating. Lalo never intended to show up in court which means he was always going to forfeit his bail. That means he could have paid a bondsman 10% of his bail or 700 000 dollars instead of the 7 million. He would have saved 6.3 million dollars.
You can either pay the entire bail and show up in court, which means you get all your money back OR you can pay 10% of the bail to a bondsman.
You forgot to include the property damage to Clovis's gate
Jesse didn't technically "steal" the RV back from him, since everything was most like off the books, but he definitely did crash through and break that fence
also damaged the porta potty as well. if you wanted to be really anal (no pun intended) about it you could probably slap on some biohazard related charges on top of that seeing as he got the shit juice all over the property.
I feel like him Murdering Todd would be justifiable since he was kidnapped and tortured by him and the only way to actually escape from him would be by murdering him.
He could probably argue that in court, but also it wasn't completely self defense, Todd wasn't a threat at the time, he attacked first, and killed Todd rather than just restraining him. Self defense only allows you the right to stop the threat, not kill the threat. Was it justified? Definitely, Todd has murder 3 innocent people we see, the kid, Brock's mom, and his House keeper. And he's a dick.
Todd wasn’t threatening him at the time.
@@spaceace4387 but it wasn’t like Todd would’ve let him go. Plus Jessie couldn’t have escape since he was still chained up and I believe you are allowed to kill your own kidnapper since that would be classified as self defense
@@d0rryx274 If Jesse tried to escape and Todd tried to stop him then you’d have a point but that’s not what happened, Todd was posing no threat at the time. Jesse woudl have gone to jail for murder, although by that point he was already looking at multiple life sentences thanks to his own decisions and actions.
@@spaceace4387 so what should've jesse done then? Just sit there and not do anything?
I'd be interested in seeing something like "what if Azula was charged for her crimes", which I realize is a bit tricky since... well she's royalty, and her actions were committed during a war, so I'm not sure how you would charge her with anything there.
Actually now that I'm writing this I realize it's impossible to charge her 'cause she can just plead insane lmao. I suppose maybe Ozai is a more realistic case? I don't know how that would work either tho.
I agree. That would be interesting.
Maybe using principles similar to the Nuremberg trials? The Allies put the Nazi leadership on trial despite most of their actions technically being legal according to the laws of the Third Reich.
Which country's laws would you even use for that?
It's very tricky as everything both did was legal at the time of doing. Also, Azula only went insane late into the show
Dai Li too please.
0:26 This show takes place in New Mexico.
Without being familiar with US law, couldn't it be argued that Gale's murder be reduced in charge or something, due to the fact that he did it explicitly to end a VERY credible threat to another person's life?
Doubt. They should called the cops.
For a threat to be very credible in court, the alleged threatening party must have explicitly said something to the effect of "I will harm you under certain conditions." Nobody ever said Walt would die if Gale continued to cook, he only assumed it albeit with sound reasoning. It would be an impossible assumption to prove though, doubly so without implicating himself in the operation
@@sagesarrazine6270 I mean, Mike did point a gun at Walt, and the only reason he didn't pull the trigger was because Walt said Gale's life was in danger
Not under law. If he was in the same room an could have shot Mike, that would go as self defense or saving someone from an aggressor. But you can't just go commiting murders so that others are not murdered. SAme as how killing Krazy 8 is never self defense since he could not have escaped that basement. Walt should have called the police and there would be no potential for violence from Krazy 8 then. Only if he let him go and he would have attacked him with the Shard (deadly weapon), only at thta point it would be self defense again.
As far as I know, no. Being under duress can get you out of a few crimes, but murder is absolutely not one of them.
10:11 “All of that gives him a life sentence”
*Proceeds to give 4 life sentences*
Because "all of that" was four separate things, each of which gives him a life sentence
Lol
@@brendanhall5581better phrased as “All of which each”
@@brendanhall5581 I don't get what's the fourth thing, first is cooking meth before Gus, second is distribution on his own, and third is cooking for Gus, what's the fourth thing? Todd and his crew forced him into cooking
You should do Saul Goodman next, and if you feel like you shouldn’t because he got a sentence at the end of the Better Call Saul, just imagine if your video was the courts throwing the book at him. Also you can charge him for all the crimes that he got away with and didn’t get charged for.
He has it coming.

I've played those games so many times. It would be hilarious to see all his crimes put into a video whether they end in failure or success. 😂😂
It would make sence 😂
Games game 1 breaking the bank game 2 escaping the prison game 3 stealing the Diamond game 4 inflatin the airship game 5 Flelling the complext game completing the mission
I think him killing Todd was definitely self defense. Todd was one of the guys holding him captive even if he does have somewhat of a childish mind
What if Audrey 2 from Little Shop of Horrors was charged for his crimes?
I’ll just say that what he does in the Director’s Cut ending would give him billions of death penalties.
Now we need if gus fring was charged for his crimes if mike ehraument was charged for his crimes if saul goodman was charged for his crimes and if breaking bad character who surived were charged for their crimes
You missed how he entered Mexico without going through customs!
3:20 I always felt bad for Saul in this scene
I can't help but notice that Walt's crimes from a previous video were a little bit more lenient, at least with the first 10 offences, but then again, i remembered that for the entire series, it was Jesse who took the chances and put his life on the limb for the protection of others. He risked way more than Walt, so now, this is understandable. Jesse's my favorite character btw
Great video again Mousait especially loved the editing in this one. Would not mind seeing more people from Avatar the last airbender being charged
Even the Joker knows not to mess with the IRS
If Star Wars villains were charged for their crimes 2
We dont know how they would be charged, we dont knows laws from star wars
Phenomenonal video mate! Glad to see these videos popping off again!
Didn’t know jessie was 6’8 based on the thumbnail
🤓 ☝️ Uhm actually its around 6’10
Came to the video only for this comment and am clicking off now cuz idc i already know all his crimes 😂
I love how when Mousait starts a video it's themed how he typically does with any villain, but in Breaking Bad characters he uses the Breaking Bad style
I know, that it's a lot of work, but you could really boost the quality of these videoes by making a plus-indictor, everytime you give the character a new sentence.
E.g. When it goes from 1 year to 4 years, you could show "+3 years" under the total amount for a couple of seconds, and animate the "+3 years" upwards, and change the total amount accordingly. The progression would be easier to follow.
Great content. Keep 'em coming.
If the strawhats where charged for their crimes
If he does that it would take him a full year to just watch all of it
@@pelle.h1809well i wouldn't say it would take a year for me it took a couple months but although it would take him abt a year or more just to see all of the crimes and the video would take atleast 3 hours or more
3 hours is really an under statement but yk
I think their bounties got that covered already
@@pelle.h1809just watch the live action then. Season 1 already good and enough.
One piece anime is trash btw. Same happen with the Manga BECAUSE OF THOSE CRINGE LAME WEIRD Oda's Humor.
I love watching these videos imagining that he is talking in an actual court with the convicted sitting in a seat, no matter their strength, powerless to do literally anything as their sentence is racked up.
Also could you do Halo? :)
I don’t think I have ever seen a list of crimes this long with a sentence this light
Kinda shows why El Camino is just a nice romantic dream that tears off moral baggage.
Realistically, Jesse does deserve to be punished for all the horrible things he’s done, beyond just the Nazis’ torture.
Nope. In the very first episode Walter coerces him into working with him. He says he'll turn Jesse in if he doesn't help him with the meth business. Everything else he does that's violent is for self-preservation
@@BthIX thats how i saw jesses character too he was always lost in life and walter just pointed him into anything that would help walter
I feel like Jesse could have gotten a decent deal if he turned himself in, I personally think it would have worked way better than him taking Todd's "blood money" after refusing all of Walter's
@@BthIXi agree, walt is negative influence to jesse, however sometimes fans forget that jesse wanted to willingly to continue as partners. Walt ended the blackmail after krazy 8 and emilio incident, and jesse went to his house and literally asked him(not justifying walt, just saying jesse has some blame)
@@tastychunkswith no one to trial, they’ll use everything they have against him. He would’ve been fucked
Jesse being sentenced wouldve been a tricky situation. Jesse was originally going to get off all charges for the information provided leading to the capture of walter. But since walter passed away before making it to trial, the dea needed to charge someone for the crimes, which is why they went after skylar, because she didnt know where walt was and went after jesse in el camino. However that being said, if jesse had been charged for his crimes he couldve taken it up to the supreme court, pushing the fact that he tried to leave multiple times, but was threatened, coerced, manipulated, and forced to do the things he did under duress. Likely the supreme court would resolve all charges giving him time served, probation, witness protection, and being placed on a permanent federal watchlist.
Man Jesse has a lot Charges but I thought about that and for me Gale was always the saddest death for me, but he had to do it, to do it to survive and the penultimate final scene by El Camino was always epic but yeah he technically deserves the charges for that.
Thanks for coming back
i like the addition of the better call saul theme whenever a crime is canceled out (i.e. self defense)
Great video!
We love theses videos keep them coming
Did you leave out his murder of Hector's grandson and his participation in the firefight in Mexico not count since he was outside US jurisdiction at the time?
If so, what about illegal travel to Mexico without a legal process?
And what about the crimes he did with Mike?
Does being an active part of a drug empire not qualify it's own life sentence?
And what justice do you think could be provided for him considering all the suffering he went through while imprisoned?
Would the court give him some relief for that or do all the charges still stick?
Keeping that in mind it could also be classifiable that Jesse's murder of Todd was self-defense against his captor
The killing of Hector's grandson could be chalked up to self defense, Jesse had no idea about the poisoning plan, and when the gun fight started, he fired in self defense while they were leaving.
He illegally crossed the border, most likely.
With Mike they were picking up dead drops, I have no clue what crime it would be considered, but yeah, given in BCS we people get arrested for the same thing, that is a crime also.
While he was a prisoner it's likely he could avoid being charged for any meth he cooked under duress, given they murdered someone when he attempted to escape also he had reason to believe not only was his own life on the line, but innocent people as well.
Todd's killing could be self defense, but it would have to be argued, self defense is tricky because they have to prove what you did was necessary, did he have to kill Todd? Todd wasn't a threat at that moment, Todd did not act aggressively towards him there, he could've restrained him or choked him enough to make him pass out without killing him. He'd have to prove 100% killing Todd was justified legally, which could be done possibly given he was a slave, or by the fact Todd might try to kill Brock.

@@apaarshrivastava Walt didn’t make Jesse do anything. Jesse chose to be a meth dealer. He’s the cause of his own suffering.
@@spaceace4387both are to blame, Walter for manipulation and death threats and Jessy for actually committing the crime. Of course some of them are not manipulation but most of them are on the finals seasons
@@AstolfoCR So Jesse isn't fully responsible for his actions? Jesse is a grown adult he could have quit whenever he wanted but he didn't. He made his bed and he should lie in it.

By the way, this is a great video to start the beginining of the new month.
4:39: As an aside, the U.S.A requires you to report all income, including income that you have illegally obtained. The IRS doesn't care, you pay taxes regardless. It's very likely that by simply just not cleaning the money and paying taxes on it, or paying taxes and being flush with money, he would get an even higher sentence of willful tax evasion. This isn't even counting whatever New Mexico's state taxes are at the time.
Yes! New "Breaking Bad" video!
I was literally thinking about this today.
I don’t know about crazy eight being self-defense, because yeah Walter was fearing for his life with the plates shard but crazy eight was also fearing for his life because he was being imprisoned.
Regardless of what he did , Jesse is still considered as a super-villain, he has made a lot of wrong choices, to the point that most of his loves ones and friends are gone , died by his own hands or others that he befriended with. He causes trouble throughout the streets in drug addict mode and on purpose. HE even neglected to cooperate with Saul some more he assaulted him, Jesse does not even ask where he is at the end, letting Saul rot in prison for life. Finally, he is a millionaire of criminal damage in this show. Also a heavy sinner and an A Class fugitive.
And people still insist he's sympathetic and not a POS 🤷♂️
@@Laissez-faire402he cared about children and actually regretted the shit he did, he killed Gale with tears in his eyes, Walter seemed more cold

Ok but seriously in a real life situation, if we kill the guy attacking with glass even tho he is our prisoner, will that be considered self defense?
Walt would get conspiracy, first degree murder, and kidnapping. Jesse would get conspiracy, kidnapping and felony murder.

2. Involuntay manslaughter (Elizabeth Afton)
3. Child neglect (allowed his son Michael to bully and eventually kill his little brother, and the aforementioned death of Elizabeth)

5 Years for breaking and entering seems excessive. In general, i think he always uses the maximum instead of looking at the circumstances and choosing milder sentences.
