👏👏👏 Well done! As a fellow solo buyer, nothing compares to that feeling when you get the keys go in and look around again and you stand there almost dumbfounded at having a house and doing it solo. Also got a semi, 2 bed though, big garden and drive. It feels too good to be true! Enjoy it my friend, exciting times to come decorating it!
That garden has A TON of potential kitchen is nice size. You can do a lot with this home to make it yours. Congratulations!!!!

I was so glad when you said that the carpets have to go and please don't get new carpets in, get some nice floor if there isn't one underneath. As for the closet, I'd imagine putting linens there

Such a nice house! Personally, I'd get rid of the faux vintage tiles in the entry way and put some authentic ones in. It's a smaller space so shouldn't be that expensive or difficult to find nice tiles.

That is a sweet little house. The kitchen is not my style and some of the updates miss the mark - @1:10, that panelling is not authentic to the period - and the street door is a cheap and nasty abomination, which I would change as soon as possible. Walk down your street to see if any of the houses still have the original door - unlikely, but not entirely out of the question - or what people have used as a replacement. There are lots of companies doing modern reproductions with built in safety features. I like the 'dipped and stripped' doors and that the radiators are a step up from the builder grade cheapie option. Get a washing machine BUT don't go go for a washer/dryer combo. They are not great and expensive to run. You have a garden and can dry indoors on cold, wet days. Lastly, congratulations on being able to buy a HOUSE.

Going on one year 😢 still ain’t recovered lol still have a lot of decor to do like the bathroom needs refurb and the bedrooms need decorating I think it will take 3 years 😅 by then il want to sell the house. 🏠.
