89-year-old Operation Polo survivor recounts history

As September 13 approaches and BJP continues to push the concept of "Telangana Liberation Day," to communalise the atmosphere, a lot of misinformation and confusion has emerged surrounding the whole event of police action and Hyderabad's annexation into India.
To address this, the team of The Siasat Daily is doing a series of interviews with witnesses of the police action, family members of witnesses and historians with a grasp over the annexation of the princely state.
This is the interview of Mohammad Osman Ali who was 15 years old during the police action and started working for the police a few years after Operation Polo.
He shares the stories he heard during his time and what he witnessed in the districts while working for the police, with The Siasat Daily.
