No not at all actually I was surprised!
I had a ten series and that’s it on my fourth gen, I did the same and deleted the two resonators out the back on my fifth gen and it’s still quieter than my fourth gen with more taken out, it’s crazy how much that third resonator changes the sound of the truck
I actually have the same truck I’m looking to do a similar setup
Get yourself a set of carven 5" tips. Put them on my Wifes ram, completely changed the sound for the better and they fit the bumper cut outs amazingly. They're direct swap bolt ons so it took me about 5 minutes lol
I was thinking about it, just got a lot of other stuff to do to the truck first
@@AustinFredericks I hear that. Gearing up too do a 6" in my suburban as we speak. Wife is content with her truck as is minus a leveling kit. Did LED grille, taillights, knock off morimoto headlights with LEDs, LED 3rd brake light, sequential mirror turn signals, all the interior lights purple along with the engine bay, debadged, and the aforementioned 5" tips. Trying to find a wheel and tire combo to pair with the leveling kit that she actually likes lol
Hell yeah that’s bad ass, I got to get wheels and tires, and a bunch of little stuff here and there and a bunch more powder coat and maybe bumpers
@@AustinFredericks I've been looking into paint matched bumpers or getting the RT ones but I saw a painted to match big horn bumper the other day and it actually looked sick. I'm not huge on chrome bits so the big chrome parts on the front and rear bumpers kills me. I wish hers was a 19 like yours though haha it's a 13 but its only got 98k on it and I paid like 19k for it.
Not bad at all I loved my 4th gen. I love chrome but I’m leaning towards color matching bumpers and mirrors just so the gray flows better with the powder coat
It almost sounded like there was more drone in the cab with the resonators on.

I took the resonators off mine and it was wayyyyyyyy better

@@jimbrow83 I love it. Not raspy at all unless it’s cold. Barely any drone at all they did a great job of sound detoning these trucks

I’m not sure, most likely not. We don’t have emission checks where I’m from
