Lol. It's so sad because the books are really good, but Peter Jackson screwed this up. Course that could also be said about Golden Compass (Dark Materials series) - but at least that had a good tv adaptation.

Basically the city’s need fuel to keep moving so they “eat” each other so by destroying everything it makes it easier for them to get fuel.

Good movie plot. Countries are constantly moving to find resources and avoid enemies but the ending scene flop, it seems forced to end abruptly.
