    Hi Nora, I have put the blue star into leca however its OK but some leaves dry at the tips. Another up date about a month ago I put palms into leca, first was an parlor palm that did ok. So I went larger Areca palm thats loves it, it got new frones. So I went for the king of palms the larger Kentia palm thats been in leca for this the 3rd week. I was in two mind as this palm made me nervous I didnt want to kill it. I will not do a pony tail elephant foot as its has a woody sterm. Now 3 week plus all 3 palm are just doing what they do and are all healthier then in soil.
    I also done some Carnivorous Nepenthes plants, they are all thriving so very well, so I'm happy to report this just so you are now up to date. Good videos so appreciate thankyou layla

      Thank you for the updates Layla. I can certainly see how the fern would be crispy at the edges. A bit more humidity needed perhaps?

    I moved a crocodile and a Boston to leca and they've done so much better than they ever did in soil. They really love the conditions.

    Very excited to see how the experiment goes! I'm currently trying the long method with my cebu blue and philodendron micans and neither of them are very happy with me about it lol

    Hey girl, love your videos♥️.
    I’m in the process of transitioning my soil plants into leca and I’m loving the experience❣️
    How about Adenium? I have two babies and I want to try them, but I’m nervous because we life in zone 3, so Adenium have to grow indoors in winter.
    Any thoughts you’d care

    Hi Nora,
    Where do you get your clear pots? I have been looking for some and they only ones I've found are the orchid pots (which are also expensive). I have an iron rod to make the holes but have not found any 14 or 20 inch clear pots.
    Thank you for your amazing content and information.

      Hello Jaimee Rose. I get my pots from our local store in Australia called Bunnings. Amazon have some. Good luck finding them. Check out some options below:

    so, if roots aren't in contact with the solution, why is that important, especially for ferns which love water? I get you want to avoid root rot, but isn't it a risk it would dry out instead of growing??

    • @TheLecaQueen
      @TheLecaQueen  Před rokem

      Not a risk at all because the leca has moisture, enough for the plant. As long as the reservoir has nutrient solution the leca will not dry out because it wicks the solution from the bottom to the top by capillary action.
