THANK YOU! Finally, people that understand Sage's character. It's so clear she's playing the long game and sewing discourse. A true agent of chaos.
This. She has been the smartest person in the world for her whole life basically and finally has the ability to influence things on a massive scale. She is motivated. She has a big chip on her shoulder and something to live for now. When we found her she was a shut in eating junk food and surrounded by books then homelander came knocking.
I mean, it should be obvious. Definitely agree. And I am so hype to see the reveal of what her goal is.
I've been wondering if she came to the same conclusion about killing Homelander. That in order for it to be effective enough it would inevitably mutate and become contagious, so she's trying a different way to "destroy" him

Nobody is talking about Marie. She is coming! She has the same powers as Victoria and even survived Homelander’s lasers. When Victoria’s head popped, I thought it might be her for a quick second. I wonder how she works in!

I said for a quick second, and I think most people had some instant thoughts at that scene before quickly realizing what was happening. Maybe you knew instantly, we can’t all be as brilliant. Regardless, the comment was about wondering how they’ll eventually bring in Marie, not that tiny little thought you focused on.
There’s no reason to talk like that. I know the anonymity of the internet makes some people want to be rude and aggressive for no reason, but most of the fans on here don’t like that stuff, so you just wind up looking silly.

Victorian Newman is the reason Marie and her friends are only locked up and not dead, she wouldn’t be popping Newman. When we next see her she will be working for Newman is my guess.

I dont really think the show only makes fun of the right... yeah Kripkes comments about making some commentary, the show starting out as a super hero show with politics sprinkled in it, but slowly it has become a political show with supes. But, theres a lot of jokes making fun of, commenting on both sides of the political aisle, people who are religious and people who are not religious, maybe its not on purpose, maybe it is, but i think they crack on a little bit of everyone.
if the political sides are based on religion/non-religion, then first let's not forget that there's more than one religion. If we're only talking Christianity, then the right are definitely the pharisees, judging and punishing the sinners while turning away from the needy, only using religious laws to keep their positions of power. While the disciples of the Christ befriended and helped those that were thrown away by society and never judged how religious someone was. It's actually very un-religious to force religion on those who aren't looking for it, and depending on which one, its also very un-religious to use one's personal relationship with their God as something to shape how other people see them.

It was super weird to hear Victoria Neuman mention AOC, considering I thought she was the AOC of that universe. It’s a little too meta for me, it would be like Homelander bringing up Donald Trump’s presidency.

@@jladelaney1978 yes but there isn’t a specific character on the show that’s meant to be Elizabeth Warren, whereas Neuman was literally brought in as a version of AOC when she first came on. Like that’s who they patterned her after. Whereas this season Homelander is obviously Trump.

I think the main take away is that The Seven are a house of cards in the process of falling. They all have ulterior motives. I believe Homelander has an "exterminate all who oppose" contingency and at this point truly trusts no one. Sage has her hidden cards, as well as, Victoria. We still need to know where she(Victoria) took her father.(Most likely with Zoe) I believe that A-Train is gone. Either he's on the run and gone or he's dead when Homelander finds out he's the mole. Either way...gone. (I think HL already knows about A-Train and he's letting A-T and Sage bury themselves) Firecracker will die from the meds causing Homelander to flip out. He will also find out about A-Train and Ashley and Sage. If he doesn't know about them already, that is. That's when 💩 hits the proverbial 🪭. If he ***doooes*** then I believe losing another motherly figure is going to be the final catalyst. Homelander will take out Sage and possibly A-Train for their betrayal. And maybe Victoria? Deep and Noir will be left and terrified of Homelander's onslaught and once again become his little b!***es or Deep will hide in the ocean and Noir will go do the show he was talking about with Deep or also disappear. (It would be terrible, but there is a very real chance HL kills him...again) I think it all comes to a head with Ryan either dying or having to kill Homelander and then snaping for killing his own father, becoming the next big bad which puts Butcher in a crap situation. Unable to stop Ryan, Starlight will see her friends in danger, get inspired and overcome her mental block saying something along the lines of "I am Starlight.", (to play on RDJ's famous line from 'Endgame') and get her powers back and then possibly sacrificing herself which would be where we get that shot of Hughie crying heavily. Does she survive? I think she's going to have to kill Ryan via system overload in a sort of Soldier Boy-esque fashion (fkn poetic)...so, no. Womp womp. DUCES! 🖖🏽
Technically Kessler said Butcher left him to die. Not a certain death confirmation.

It's been awhile since I've read the comic but I don't think Butcher killed all the supes in the end. Hughes kind of half ass foils his plans. Starlight lives. I mean I can't remember if the whole hero thing stopped so maybe in a way he did destroy them all because he brought down Voughts whole superhero schrick, but he didn't kill all of the supes themselves

The Boys has gone from edgy to just…ummm…wrong.
Sage will give Black Noir the role of his life by using her genetics knowledge to change Black Noir from a African looking man to a European looking one. Inspired by the movie White Chicks, she will convince Homelander to neutralize himself in some perminent and extreme manor, and have the actor who destests violence replace him as a real hero and a good father to Ryan.
Why do you guys feel the need to talk shit about some of your fans. The comment about some fans being mad because a women saved homelander is unnecessary and was the only reason that I thought about that plot point. There’s just no need for it. You bring more of the drama from the people that get mad about these things by bringing them up when maybe we just were enjoying the show because it’s very well written even if it is very political it’s not just shoving it in your face because so much other stuff is going on around the politics. No hate just something I’ve noticed more and more lately.
One of the main points of this entire season is hitting the toxic, bigoted MAGA folks right between the eyes. There are a lot of fans from that group who somehow didn’t realize that they were the butt of the joke until this season, and the whole point is reveling in that. That’s why they not only call out that base of people, but also specifically create analog characters to their leaders (Homelander/Trump, Firecracker MTG, etc).
So it’s hard to see a flaw in people reviewing an episode with those themes and laughing about dumb fans who believe in them. It’s genuinely funny to most of us, and nobody is super concerned about offending people who would be upset at a fake supervillain being outdone by a woman.
They're not talking about fans of the Breakroom, they're talking about the bigoted MAGA fans who thought Homelandrer was the hero of the show.

Can we just stop fucking arguing and realize that Biden‘s a bad choice Trump not a great choice but he’s not gonna fucking destroy our country like everyone thinks he is because he’s already been president for four years and they said the same thing last time, and he didn’t do any of them when Trump was elected president there were riots in the streets by Democrats. But We had an insurrection on January 6 where people were let in to the capital. The lack of self-awareness is insane.
