I like how Cedar point made this a great ride for both spectators and riders, like they have the bleachers and viewing areas, and I think they still have the speedometer that tells you how fast the launch was, Unlike another park with a similar ride *cough* *cough* Great Adventure *cough*

@@unknownwarrior5672 That doesn't make it a better ride. I've haven't ridden TTD but I have ridden KK and while a breath taking ride, I couldn't believe how rough the launch was, especially in the back. I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I hoped I would. TTD has a much better theme too.
@@mhtube01 well then ride it again but in the front lol. Why do people go on rides like this just to go in the back anyways? IMO if you're riding these things for the 1st time, the front is non negociable because that's where all the experience is. You have a clear view and you get to be windslapped. Well at least that's what i did. Whenever i go to six flags next i will definitely go in the back to experience it myself.
@@unknownwarrior5672 Well when you have to wait 8 rides for the front as opposed to 2 rides for almost every other seat, it's an easy choice for me. I'll get back in line and ride another seat then! I normally go for the back seat anyway.
I went to Cedar Point in August (I actually was in line for Raptor when the guy died!) and rode this front row. One of the most exhilarating moments of my life.

+Johnnie G When I went, I stayed in Ohio at a house on Lake Erie for 3 days. The first day we went to Cedar Point, the second day we went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the third day we went back to Cedar Point. It was very crowded, but because the park was so huge the crowds were spread out a lot. I only rode roller coasters while I was there because I didn't have time for anything else, and I ended up going on every roller coaster except for the two kiddie ones and Maverick (I ran out of time for Maverick and the line was to long). Top Thrill Dragster is my favorite roller coaster out of the 45+ that I've ridden. TTD, Millennium Force and Gatekeeper are all in my top 4 favorite coasters. So, overall, AMAZING park. I wish I had stayed in the hotel breakers though, because then I would get early entry to the park!!! :(

+Johnnie G I like Top Thrill Dragster the most, Gatekeeper the second most, and Millennium Force the third most. Although, most people who go to Cedar Point say that Millennium Force is the best ride.

When I was there in August, I witnessed a rollback! It was the first rollback I've ever seen in real life. If only I was in the front seat to experience it.

Is it because it's fun or is it because they don't want to go straight down that drop? I never been the Cedar Point but I would like to go!! I live in South Carolina South I usually go to carowinds in North Carolina.
+Jacobe Harris (Coby) It's because it's fun and a rare experience to tell your friends about (I rode the coaster once but sadly didn't get a rollback). Once you roll back to the launchpad, though, they just launch you back up so it's not because people don't like the drop.

This ride is broke down more than it runs. The locals at Cedar Point even said so. We drove 2 states just to ride Top Thrill Dragster, and alas, it was down. We saw a maintenance crew sitting on their asses until a supervisor walked up. We went to guest services and complained, we paid $300.00 for two Fast Lane passes, and 3 of the 5 feature rides weren't in operation because of maintenance issues and faults. Cedar Point refunded us $100.00 back to our card.

Over a year ago, when I first became an enthusiast, for some reason I confused this with Maverick.
Now there are only a few Cedar Point coasters left until there is a full offride playlist!
Here is my thought on Dragster...very good launch, great speed and very intense. Something everyone should plan to do if you go to C.P.
However I can't really rank it real high just because it's a short ride. The thrill is very much high on the list though.

did anyone else notice at 0:18 the message at the beginning telling the people to keep arms down head back and hold on was broken or cut short? It just went "keep ar...." and it just got cut off.
Brianna Koenig the ops can control when it cuts off. When I rode it, the voice just said, “keep your arms down... keep your arms down.” It’s kinda funny and calming if you are nervous

I rode this, my third ever roller coaster, after the valravn. The valravn had just come out at the time.
EDIT: I went on it, and it was GREAT.

Is the scariest part really the launch?
Do you feel like you are actually going to fall out of your seat?
How secure do you feel on this ride?
and Is it as scary as it looks?
I just rode it yesterday with my family. Yes, I would say the scariest part is waiting to launch/the first few seconds of launching. No, the ride is going so fast that you're almost stuck to your seat. At the beginning you don't feel very secure once since there is only a seat belt under a lap bar. But honestly this ride is so fun and is definitely now my favorite ride ever. It's ok to be nervous (trust me I was about to cry) but take it from a twelve year old, this ride is a blast! I hope you go on it!
Also forgot to add: no, it is not as scary as it looks. It's so fun and actually very smooth. It makes you feel calm because you can sometimes see 70 year olds riding it, but at the same time you see 7 year olds riding it!

i went to cedar point in may or june. i forget. i rode all of the rollercoasters except for the dragster and the new one.my first rollercoster i rode there was the raptors

Taylor- Just a bit of constructive criticism. I would not mix in the different weather shots together. It looks a bit weird and unorganized seeing very sunny in one shot, and cloudy in the next one. I would do all the cloudy shots first, then the sunny shots or vice versa. I do not make my own videos, but I learned that tip from another CZcamsr, ThatDudeinBlue. Love your channel man!

To answer your question, in Pennsylvania, the coasters aren't allowed to go above 200 feet due to state laws, so a giga is out.
I looked into it and it looks like it doesn't affect the park...

You clearly didn't watch my top 15 roller coaster video- millennium force placed as one of the best roller coasters I've ridden! I have NEVER said I didn't like it. I just think it's hyped up to much. I very much do like it.

Depends on the day. Some days it runs perfectly. It runs better when it's cooler, like in the 70s, I don't think it likes the heat.
