Your efforts are sensibly great brother. It helped me a lot. You have got a very good understanding over how to elaborate a complicated technology in the most easiest and interesting manner. Please keep us loaded with more such insightful videos of AMGs.
To be honest, while the C43 doesn't feel short changed anymore compared to the C63, the erstwhile V6 still had a certain character to it, alongside that raspy exhaust note. With this though, no more of it. It feels like any other relatively lower level, less exotic performance car of nowadays, with a small engine putting out big power. Sigh! Dang those emission norms! 🥲 And yes, the M340i is a much better prospect for an enthusiast.
DOA against the M340i. No enthusiast worth his salt will pick this over the M340i, with the 6-cyl engine that's 30L cheaper and still faster to 100, more comfortable, much more glorious sounding.
I really believe the C43 will struggle to sell. I had a chance to drive it briefly a week or so ago, and it's just not playful enough. That's good for a daily driver, not so much when you're pitching it as a sporty sedan, as an AMG no less. At the same price point, I'd rather have an M2. If I want a playful 2.0 liter AMG, the A45s is there. And most of all, for 30+ lakhs less, there's the M340i. It's faster, and a six cylinder to boot, although interiors and sound system are miles better on the C43. But 30-40 lakhs better? That's a no from me, dawg.
While this looks better than the M340i, the engine and price drive it out of contention. This is too complex for Indian road conditions. I dont think the C43 has attracted the enthusiasts abroad either. Mercedes has its work cut out.
@@evoIndia Although I heard that apart from handling and feedback the complex system makes it bad to drive, like the transmission and engine aren't synced properly, so it doesn't react quick enough when you want, there's a massive delay in the boost and response overall, also there has to be 2 or 3 downshifts to actually haul the car if it's cruising in 9th gear. Is all of these true? The new c amgs with their complexities and weight gain are getting a lot of criticism around the world.
Merc are hurting themselves pricing it out of proportion, and when sales tank, they will not bring any more fun AMGs to India. The cycle that many brands went through and now merc is following their footsteps off a cliff.
While it may be saddening to see the engines become smaller, we must also understand impact big engines have in efficiency and emissions. Stricter norms have made it difficult for manufacturers to use bigger engines.
Buy the M340i and put a JB4. For literally 30L less, you would have 100BHP more than the c43 while sounding a LOT BETTER. If someone wants to burn their money, they should rather get the full fat M2 and not a 4 cylinder c class wannabe amg.
@@evoIndia I watched it buddy, still saying that it got "F1 tech" is a marketing gimic 😌 and it's 2023 people don't fall for this, u will see that in the sales numbers of this car compared to M340i 😛 Regardless of everything, login YT in your personal Account and reply to this comment, as a person who drove both this and M340i Would u pay 26L more for this than the M? Nobody will 😌😌
Would you pick the C 43 or the M340i?
It costs the same as M2. So ?
C43

With the price, the M340i does offer a great value!
Cant wait 2 years for a bmw, crazy!!!
a comparision test with the c43, m340i and the a45 sounds interesting
Let's hope we can get our hands on them soon!

The M2 definitely changes the game.
Great review! Thank you!

What could they have done better?
I have this in England and I love it
Bmw anyday❤
m340i anytime
Would you like us to make a comparo?
@@evoIndiayes definitely
The New BMW M2 Manual over the this C43 AMG Anyday at this price point
Ooh that's an interesting way of looking at things.
With the complexity in the engine, long term reliability would be a hit or a miss.
Amg power❤🎉 but premium price 😢
AMGs always commanded a premium!
Ten more lakhs and you get the RS5.
M340i ?, At this price point this C43 competes with the M2 and no way this car is better than M2 manual
The pricing is different only because of how these cars come to India. Else, both are proper rivals.
Always ///AMG
Always so engaging to drive.

We hope it gets the love it deserves.
Sad to see AMG now has become a joke no substitute for cubic inch

👍
Someone Stop me changing my mind from M340I.

0:20 okay I’m out 👋
But it's still an AMG, and Aatish explains why in the video.
