Project Farm on YT just did comprehensive testing on this pan and a number of different brands, and the granitestone pan won.

I bought the one Project Farm test, the stainless steel bottom. That one might be superior than this one. I didn't use oil and my heat is only medium, just as what the instruction says.

The pan that Project Farm used was the Granitestone Diamond PRO. Much heavier duty pan than the original. Regardless. The candy ran right out of the pan and they said that it stuck in this video. It didn't look like the guy knew how to flip and egg either. The spatula that he used was too big for that pan and therefore he couldn't get under the egg properly. I call Bulls**t on this unfair assessment of this pan.

@@PaisteboyI ended up getting the Granitestone Diamond Pro that PF tested. I love it thus far. I hand washed it good when I first got it, but now all I do is wipe it with a paper towel after cooking something, and once in a while wipe it down with a paper towel slightly wet with vegetable oil. But I agree, the pan tested in this video looks different.

I love these pans! They work SOOO well on my induction stove. Even heat. The instructions say that medium (5) heat is the maximum and that is correct. I heat on 5 then usually cook the eggs on 4 (low-10 scale). They lift out easily and cleans up very quickly. I usually use wooden/silicone tools but have carefully used metal spoons and such without incident.

It actually does work as advertised. If you follow the directions. They advise to put a light layer of oil before initial use. Also to monitor temperature. I paid about 20 bucks for mine. Did exactly what they stated with a light coat of oil to season the pan. I’ve only had it for about a month or 2 and no issues with sticking or the coating to date. I also use stainless steel cooking utensils. No scratches. I think if you are going to report this as a news station you should thoroughly investigate 1st. It’s worth the 20 bucks. Project Farm is an independent CZcams channel and they review all kinds of stuff. They have a pretty comprehensive review of non-stick frying pans. If you are in the market it’s worth a view. I almost bought the Hexclad pot set and thanks to that video I saved a bunch of money. This granite stone pan was included in their testing and it was ranked higher than several pans costing substantially more. Not a great job of reporting on your part unfortunately.

Edit: note they do NOT claim the cookware is made from granite. It very clearly advertised "Granitestone cookware is pressed from a solid aluminum disk for even heat conduction. Coated 3 times with our ultra-durable Granitestone non-stick finish." This from their website and in all materials regarding the pots. In no way or form do they claim the pots are granite.
