    I've used a lot of pans, OXO non-stick, Le Creuset non-stick (these are really good), ScanPan, Tfal, etc. I have to say for daily use the Ninja Neverstick is my favorite. It has good, even heat distribution that helps with a full pan of anything (usually bacon). It doesn't get nicked and scraped like some pans so you don't have to baby it. Clean up is a breeze. The only thing I've found as good is the Le Creuset non-stick stuff but that stuff costs like three times more and you have to baby them a lot more. The Ninja non-stick is where it's at. Perfect price point, lasts and cooks well. I'll buy more of their stuff when it's time to replace my other pots and pans.

    I bought and tested the 8" model of the Ninja pan . It works . Read the directions FCS . Because it is thick and its non-stick surface trades away some slickness for durability, you must pre-heat it properly before putting the food in ( about 3-4 min. on a gas stove and 5 minutes on an electric stove ) . Use medium heat or a touch hotter .
    The thickness makes it heat evenly and should protect against warpage .
    Let all pans cool completely before washing .
    Tests that involve abuse of the pan or unrealistic conditions prove little ; Do not burn food in your pans !
    Do not use cooking sprays as they can leave sticky stuff .
    The Granitestone pans are thinner, less comfortable to hold and no match for the Ninja .

    One thing to keep in mind is that because different materials and thicknesses in materials, its possible that one pan might heat up quicker than another. So a timed test is not always effective and could be why the hex clad one burned so much faster.

    • @tonod24
      @tonod24 Před 2 lety

      @Adam7986 - You are absolutely correct. The same heat/timed test is not effective when comparing two pans of differing material/weights. When searing, the pan that heats up the quickest will form a crust and release what you are searing quicker, which is why the shrimp stuck more to the Ninja verse the Granite Rock. This is also the rationale behind the cheese burning in the hexclad verse not burning in the ninja. For pans that conduct heat better, you have to learn how to cook at lower temps to get the same results. I've been cooking with the Hexclad for years now and absolutely love them but the Ninja NeverStick in my opinion is a very close, cost effective, second. HexClad's are built to last on average 20-30 years verses the 5 years for most traditional non-stick pans. This is why Hexclad's are so much more expensive. Also, not sure why most reviewers always do the egg challenge without seasoning the pans first. Most cookware states that in addition to intially washing pans in hot soapy water and drying, you should season them before begining to cook with them for the first time. If this were the case, the egg whould have slide around in the Hexclad with no problem.

    I must add that I use a Nu Wave induction cooktop which is far more precise than any other heat source so they are never overheated or charred. They are still just like new.
