- This is part-2 of Pangong Lake to Hanle ride. As we couldn't reach Hanle so stayed at Tsaga Village which was 80 KM from Hanle and also covered Rezang La war memorial.
On our way we witnessed the beautiful terrains and mountains.

It's a dog. Wolves will not come that close to a human. Also black wolves are rare to find, even in Ladakh :)

I did this on 7th jun’19 on a Himalayan. Started from Maan at 8.30 AM and reached Hanle by 4.30ish. Did go to the Hanle observatory the same evening. So, I must have reached Tsaga around 2 pm.
it was crazy. Am reliving the same via your videos. Same stretch, same water crossings, guessing games on which path to take, telephone/electrical lines and same stops/dhabas at chushul and Tsaga.
Three words - Lovely, scary and mesmerising. This is Sid again who posted on your Ep-16. I was also on a Himalayan in the same sector on 7th jun’19 and guess what, when I reached Hanle that night, I had exactly the same feelings as Gautam - what if bike had some problem/tyre puncture/burst etc. Tsaga La - Hanle is a pretty smooth run, especially after you turn left from Nyoma road and ride about 70 odd kms to Hanle. Good decision to stop at Tsaga since you were running late. Next episode of yours will show the barren beauty of this landscape. Simply beautiful and best enjoyed in day light.
Just like you, I was also running short on days to complete this trip but there was a new vista, new colours, new hues after every turn.
I think after I did this stretch (Maan-Hanle) and reached Hanle same day, it finally felt that I had managed to do something most people don’t even know/attempt when in ladakh. It can play havoc with your mind.
Good going brother. Can’t wait for the next episode..and this year’s solo August ride to ladakh for yours truly.

Bro, I have gone through the same experience like you did, the bad part on my side was, my bike tyre got punctured after crossing Rezangla war memorial at 5pm in the evening and I have experience that terrain in the full moon night at -5 degree temperature. A godly person from Tsaga village came to save me...🙏
