It is beautiful out there in Nevada. I did not think the prices were that bad in Sundance JT. Comparing them to the prices here in Boston. So sometimes everywhere looks a little cheaper than here. Good snag on the Brothers Johnson album. Not bad for $7. Will try to check back later on and see what else you picked up. Always good to spend a little time digging with you~ Rob/Boston
You're right about the prices being average at Sundance, and my friends consession is fair as well. I have been spoiled, buying collections and garage digs for cheap. Mad 4 Vinyl up in Rochester just bought 80 beautiful records for 100.00 ! I sure appreciate hearing from you, Rob ! See you later 🎵
That looks like a super nice area. That old building with the records was cool, looked like a fun place to look around in. Sort of reminded me of the original Half Price Books in Dallas.

I would love to have a copy, maybe later. I'm into a lot of older vinyl, although I picked up " Nothings Shocking" today on a German repress. My 1st Jane's Addiction on vinyl. Our country is so beautiful; I love riding along with you. It's sad to see great retail establishments close. Their overhead must be very high. 30% on RSD titles in a store that is going out of business is a little light. Should be 50%. Cool Byrd's 45. I love Crying Time; you can't go wrong with Ray. What an amazing place to buy music from and sad it's closing. The Fall Live In 1977..bootleg? Enjoyed the drive and the local knowledge 👍Also the scenery is a totally different terrain to what I'm used to. Very cool. Love 45's. It's the ultimate punk and indie rock format in my opinion.Cheers...Ben

So sad to see such a historic business closing its doors. Not a good sign. I got excited when I saw that RSD L’Aventura album! I heard a bit of it on Steve Carlson’s show and I loved it! You’re right about that JC record, definitely his best. I saw a few decent jazz titles in there. Fun Doo Wop titles.

That opening vista was truly beautiful JT! Wow! High desert foothills! Sundance Music & Books is a very cool looking place. Love that it's an old house! That Gene Clark RSD album looked good. That compleat Albert Collins is a nice collection. Those 7" singles near the end looked great. I will be looking up that Ray Charles cover of "Cryin' time" by Buck Owens. ✌

Nice you got The Brothers Johnson Look Out For #1. That was the album to have when I was in the 6th grade back in 1975-1976 along with that pink Rufus album. Good tracks on it. Let us know how you like it.
I love that Brothers Johnson, but I realized that I already have it. I left that copy at the coffee house. Rufus is so so good ! I finally have most of Chaka's records with Rufus. Good call on these awesome records.. Thank you
Thanks for the great tour JT . That UFO live album Strangers in the Night is exceptional .Slash has said in the past it’s his favourite live album . Michael Schenker is a unique guitarist . I believe ‘Highway’ from Free was rushed in release after ‘ Fire & Water’ was so successful and not as good as other Free albums , but anything with Rodger’s & Kossoff is worth a listen .Cheers mate

Roger Chapman has some fine solo albums too 😊. Streetwalkers supported the Who often, they were just as popular for awhile. Beautiful countryside, looks cool compared to Thailand, it’s been super hot here recently, fortunately the rainy season has arrived!

Maximum Rock N Roll Presents Welcome To 1984 is on my want list. I have found it a few times but it is always in bad shape. You skipped by Cristo Redentor by Harvey Mandell. It is the only Harvey Mandell that I highly recommend. It is a bit psychy.

No, Mark. I do one video a week, and on Sunday, we took care of my wife on Mother's Day. My Mom passed back in 2013. So, to answer your question, Mother's Day was a private and personal day for us, not for making a video.
Hmm, I have many albums on multiple formats, too many to count. I can't think of any in particular, I'm into records way more than Cds and cassettes these days, and Im always interested into my new stuff.. Thanks, Mark

Nice you got The Brothers Johnson Look Out For #1. That was the album to have when I was in the 6th grade back in 1975-1976 along with that pink Rufus album. Good tracks on it. Let us know how you like it.
I love that Brothers Johnson, but I realized that I already have it. I left that copy at the coffee house. Rufus is so so good ! I finally have most of Chaka's records with Rufus. Good call on these awesome records.. Thank you
Thanks for the great tour JT . That UFO live album Strangers in the Night is exceptional .Slash has said in the past it’s his favourite live album . Michael Schenker is a unique guitarist . I believe ‘Highway’ from Free was rushed in release after ‘ Fire & Water’ was so successful and not as good as other Free albums , but anything with Rodger’s & Kossoff is worth a listen .Cheers mate

I'm on a Family kick right now, Harry, and have picked up 3 Streetwalkers LP's.. I am light on Family.. Going back to Reno Coffee today, I just might pick up Family Entertainment
@@jtsrecordroom3963Hi John, yes Family Entertainment, one of their best. So underrated imo, especially in the US/Canada. Saw Family many times back in the early 70’s! Roger Chapman has some fine solo albums too 😊. Streetwalkers supported the Who often, they were just as popular for awhile. Beautiful countryside, looks cool compared to Thailand, it’s been super hot here recently, fortunately the rainy season has arrived!

Maximum Rock N Roll Presents Welcome To 1984 is on my want list. I have found it a few times but it is always in bad shape. You skipped by Cristo Redentor by Harvey Mandell. It is the only Harvey Mandell that I highly recommend. It is a bit psychy.

I listen to hardcore.. both of my nephews are drummers in bands in that style. Psychosomatic and Rivers Of Nihil.. not hard-core, but Death / Prog metal. Psycho is skate thrash punk metal, check out " Invisible Prison" video.. Toby's on the hospital gurney. And of course, we have 7 Seconds that hail from here ! Thanks, Richie. No, Mark. I do one video a week, and on Sunday, we took care of my wife on Mother's Day. My Mom passed back in 2013. So, to answer your question, Mother's Day was a private and personal day for us, not for making a video.
I rode my bike, or walked to the record store when I was 14 and 15. My older sister had a red Pinto, so she would take me around, sometimes.
I was our stage band drummer in 9th grade in Las Vegas. Mom was up north here in Reno. I rode my bike to performances or got a ride, sometimes.
Hmm, I have many albums on multiple formats, too many to count. I can't think of any in particular, I'm into records way more than Cds and cassettes these days, and Im always interested into my new stuff.. Thanks, Mark
