Hopefully not until next season. Guy is making Rasheed Wallace look like a model citizen.
the whole "you've been an expensive backpack for curry" being completely true is an exaggeration. Dude has dominated many playoff games ,even series , he's headed to the hall of fame, lotta star players cant say the same...
At least 20 games. He’s a disgrace to the team and to the NBA. His lack of accountability, and dirty play isn’t needed in the game. If he’s so desperate to hit people, I’m sure he can try out for the UFC.
I heard he is undergoing Anger Management under Bill Laimbeer.
However many games he gets, it isn't enough
This is what happens when you enable this type of behavior for almost a decade. The man truly believes he has done nothing wrong every time it's pretty sad.
Exactly what ive been saying hes old enough now it doesnt really matter how much therapy you do old habits dont change like that
While the Warriors were the darlings of the NBA everything was great. This idiot was making money for the league... Now that the Warriors are lacking in their darlingness. The league goes to indefinite suspension. This A-hole should have been gone, for good!
oh my god this is actually really bad like how many injuries did this man intentionally cause 😭🤦🏾♀️
A lot of people looked way from Green's behavior because the Warriors were winning. Last year GSW were pedestrian and this year they look even worse, people won't tolerate shiz behavior if you are a loser.
It was 7 years ago from now, dray threatened to rip Kerr's head off in the locker room. Dray getting all violent just because Kerr told him to sit down..
Dray a violent clown since the time he got to the nba.
Draymond, the nut kicker(x3), the eye poker (x4), the tackler, the choker, the teammate puncher, the chest stumper, and the face slapper.
Draymond really is the most well-rounded offensive player of our generation.
Don’t forget “out of air grabber” lmao
The nut kicks happened WAY more than 3 times. I remember seeing a compilation of times he's done that a few years back. He's done it over 100 times at this point. Dirtiest player in the history of the NBA
@@coolremedy6969 I definitely wouldnt say in the NBAs history lol. The 80s were pretty wild. Definitely by far the most dirty modern player.
Too bad his real calling seems to be underground death match.

Draymonds been labeled dirty since he kicked Steven Adams in the nuts bro, Draymond is just likeable off the court
@@3nim3nimabl3 No he isn't. Everytime Draymond does something inexcusable i always hear people in the media and reporters, coaches give him every excuse in the book. What’s annoying is that for years many of us have been screaming that draymond was a dirty player but the media and warriors fans always came up with excuses. And now that we are out of excuses, somehow it’s still being spun as “he’s a guy that needs help” like no, he is a player who did this all to himself. He has tried to injure players MULTIPLE times in his career. I have ZERO empathy for him. This video did a great job of covering that and staying true to the point of this being 100% draymond’s doing.
There’s over 400 players in the NBA and nobody in this era has come even close to getting in as many of these situations as him. It is not an accident, bad luck, or him not getting the benefit of the doubt. It’s him
He’s just competitive
It is on him, but I can't help but put some blame on the Warriors organization, fans and media, who all bent over backwards to enable the guy.
kicking 3 guys in the nuts for the competition
@@applebutter4036Enablers only allowed him to go further than he ever should have. He has more than he is owed. No empathy.
The Warriors not suspending Draymond for punching Poole is part of the problem. If the Warriors held Draymond accountable for that event Draymond wouldn’t be acting the way he is this season.
Essentially he's the child who was never told no.
No he wouldnt have lol.....Dudes been punished by the organization and the NBA countless times. Hes arguably (according to him) cost them an NBA Championship and he didnt learn his lesson. Hes just someone that lacks complete accountability or responsibility. The Warriors havent helped, but this is a Draymond problem. Hes acted like this for over a decade and even had flashes of it when he was younger. Its just who he is.
What's crazier is the Warrior fanboys are still JUSTIFYING how Green basically assaulted Poole. The Poole slander was freaking wild.
@@MakuArein Lol I am personally fine with the Poole thing. That kid needed to be humbled.

Just a grown ass man who cant control his emotions 😂 honestly i cant believe some of these guys in the league dont put him in his place. They too damn friendly now

Put him out there with Charles Oakley, Z Randolph, just in the 80s 90s era. Dude wouldn’t last 2 seasons. Dude is trash just hustle. Just a bigger version of Pat Bev. Put him in any other team he’s riding the bench. 😂
i'm saying someone gotta clock that mf
They'd get fined at least as much for retaliating.
I guess, in the past there was less pay, therefore less to lose for swinging back. However, if players are effectively banned from retaliation, the league should have done a better job in protecting players from violent pricks like Dreymond. And that's a job they've failed to do.
With that said, of Dreymond was on a middle-of-the-road, or small-market team, I'm certain they would have clamped down on him WAY earlier. If they're handing Demarcus Cousins technicals left and right for arguing with thd refs, Dreymond should have been suspended FAR more often.
This is a beta male take. You can tell because the dude has a cartoon profile pic but also because of the subtlety in his take. Yes a man should generally remain emotionally stable but this beta male isnt reacting to that hes reacting to the confrontation, the violence, which are necessary and natural for men. Hes not chastising emotional lack of control hes trying to distance himself from what hes afraid of: confrontation, because hes a beta.
People still claim Draymond is "a very smart guy", yet all I see his entire career is bad decisions, bad behaviour and then always stupid excuses...
I don't get them calling him a smart guy or a good guy. He's neither he's a stupid guy who lucked out to play on a team the league and media sees as a cash cow and became a valuable by association with that team.
Smart guy as in his Basketball IQ is often very good. A lot of players and analysts can say the same. But usually people who are very smart in their respective fields tend to have massive character flaws

Well what happened with Poole is a good example of that. I don’t think he knew he was being filmed.
Draymond doesn’t just play with aggression. He also plays with a reckless mindset. He doesn’t care if he hurts people in the moment, he only cares about the consequences from external sources. His whole career he’s been told by his organization that he’s the heart and soul of the team, but he’s just an asshat. When he was great at defense and fueling that side of the ball, the team didn’t care, but as he slips and regresses, they won’t be so patient. It’s honestly concerning how little he cares about other players’ bodies, and by proxy, their careers at times.
The Warriors as a franchise have to be held accountable at some point. This cant go on.

I’ve been saying this since the two Steven Adams nut kicks. This guy should not be blessed to play in the NBA. He’s only out to hurt other players. He’s a bad person and the Warriors and the NBA have enabled his behavior. It’s too late to rehabilitate him. He has excuses for literally every time he’s injured other players. Kick him out of the league and let society deal with him once he’s no longer protected by the league. Anyone else would’ve done time in jail or prison after all the things he’s done on National TV.
well said
Society isn’t touching him. He’s a millionaire. They have different rules than we do.
@@Snufz760 That’s not exactly what I meant. I mean that society can deal with his physical aggression. Meaning, if he gets into an altercation as a “private citizen” someone will teach him how life really works. On an NBA court, players are more concerned with playing the game than fighting, typically. But out here in the real world you don’t get to clap your hands in someone’s face or scream at them with no repercussions. That’s more what I was trying to say.
He’s a good person he’s just a jackass for taking his frustration on other players. He needs anger management because the smallest things get him angry and violent.

@@matthewsawczyn6592 I meeean from what I could tell, KD was most likely already on his way out but Draymond definitely didn’t help. He also cost us 2016 AND I’d argue that his ties with Klutch compromised him during last year’s Lakers series. All of a sudden, dude wanted to be a turnover-prone model citizen instead of the turnover-prone bruiser/enforcer he usually is.
i first noticed Draymond's dirty antics starting in the 2015 Playoffs. 2nd Round against the Grizzlies Mike Conley had some sort of face fracture and had a mask on, and on a loose ball on the ground Draymond dove onto the ground with his whole body weight throwing & landing his right elbow into Conley's face with precision. It took Conley out of the game early, Warriors tied the series 2-2 after, Conley was never the same in that series after that dirty play and the rest is history...
Agree. His dirty play against Mike Conley is often overlooked.
Bro the grizzlies weren't winning that series regardless

@@narrow3601 the warriors had already been 2 the playoffs twice prior too that also that series turner not from the comley thing but due to the fact one of their starters tony Allen became essentially unplayable when the warriors realized they didn't have to gaurd him
@johndavis9321 when I say inexperienced I don't mean never been to a playoffs, I meant they were young and only became competitive now against a team that many already saw as a true contender. It was essentially the same as the Thunder series they would endure a season later.
Nothing is more annoying than last season's Warriors-Kings playoff series. Following the Sabonis incident, my dad and I basically argued about whether Draymond was in the wrong. We still don't agree, but that moment made it difficult to root for The Warriors, who otherwise were a team I wanted to see succeed. Given that their season was basically bookended by Draymond hurting people (see: the Jordan Poole clip), it was one of those moments where I realized things weren't going to get better. All in all, I still think Sabonis took the high road on it and won my respect, but my dad disagrees. I'm not looking forward to what he thinks of this suspension because he strikes me as thinking Draymond was provoked most of the time.

he's been doing this his entire career. The NBA has let him because the warriors are their golden goose. He's literally out there to hurt people. The NBA has a reputation of allowing this sort of stuff, it generates those hate views.
Yeah, that's basically proven after the Poole punch. He wasn't suspended and some fans themselves backed up and tried to defend Draymond and say he wasn't wrong because Poole said something about Draymond's contract and that was deserving of a full wind-up punch to the jaw. When he stepped on Sabonis’ chest and people were saying “oh he was trying to get his foot free” like you said, this is Draymond Green how many accidents can he have??
Sabonis was obviously not actually injured despite the hysterical writhing and I'm not aware of any games ever missed due to an injury caused by Draymond. So if he is actually out to hurt guys, he's doing a pretty terrible job of it.

They keep using stupid excuses like "he's protecting Steph and Clay" or "he's the enforcer", which is ridiculous cause I don't understand what he's protecting them from. And how this clowning and hurting opponents contributes to such imaginary protection? And why do NBA teams need so-called enforcers? Who was the enforcer on the Nuggets or the Heat - the two teams that went to the finals last season?

Draymond needs to just retire already. He's a man child with a short temper and in his old age he provides 0 value to any basketball team other than slightly above average playmaking for his position. He can't score, he can't defend, he can't control his emotions and negatively effects all the young talent on his team. A shell of his former self and he seems bitter about the warrior's dynasty being over. If I was a GM he'd never even be able to step foot in my office. An absolute embarrassment at this stage of his career.

The unfortunate part about it all is that there isn't a bigger goon in the NBA willing to give it back to him. Everybody else is trying to play basketball.
Huh, surprised his antics during the rio olympics didnt make this video. I remember that being a thing with the media, overshadowed by the weird thing with the us swimmers at the time
Wild how Kerr used to talk about breaking the code while Draymond been doing that for years
at this point i just expect every 5 games draymond will get ejected for trying to do a WWE move on a player😭
11:11 to kinda answer this question, Draymond is also part time for TNT. The only active player to work for an NBA broadcast partner. That documentary aired opening night that season part of TNT's 90 minute pregame show. It was a Turner Sports produced piece
I think you put it well at the end. They had a generational player and as a result they got away with his theatrics. Steph can only do so much as time goes on and when the team isn't good those Draymond antics become amplified
Draymond is a grown bully (charismatic & likable with his friends, but when he gets aggravated, he vents by attacking people who can’t or won’t fight back) and just like a high school bully, everyone in charge looks the other way when he physically assaults people because he’s valuable to the sports team.

One of the more forgotten ones was him hitting conley in his broken face (granted it was very early in his career). This was the playoffs where Conley had to wear the mask after an injury vs Portland in round 1, and in the warriors game during a loose ball conley called for time. Draymond made a very unnatural grab for it which lead to him hitting conley well after he called for time. Never respected him after that and the evidence just piles on through the years
Bro I swear draymond must’ve taught Zaza everything he knew
Infinite ban from the league and strip away his titles.
It’s super ironic af Dom kept talking about optics and I got a Ad for contacts while watching this video 🤣🤣
I think it's an issue that Draymond won too early in his career which boosted his ego way over the edge making him think of anything he does is correct
How I felt about each instances:
Steven Adams: Draymond, you're insane. Should have been suspended.
Lebron: That was provoked and no contact was actually made. I'm not mad at him.
Lebron: That was nothing.
KD: No doubt this ruined the Warriors.
Harden: Gtfoh that was completely accidental.
Reddick: Nothing.
Leonard: That was dirty.
Kevin Porter: That was nothing. I expecting he was looking for a chasedown block.
Jokic: Again nothing.
Didn’t see the Memphis incident but it doesn’t look serious to me. He probably wasn't being dirty.
Jordan Poole Punch: He should have been kicked from the team. The aftermath only secured that view. Green added narcissism to the equation. Dubs probably traded Poole only because Draymond was untradeable.
Sabonis: Sabonis deserved it 1000% Everyone most definitely hated on him but honestly, Sabonis got away with a series worth of provocations and instigations, including grabbing the mans leg which could have injured Green. What Green did wasn't right but it was easily defensible.
Gobert: Ffs Draymond you're acting like a savage beast in the worst possible way.
Nurkic: Golden State traded the wrong player (Poole) and any chances of them winning anything this season is shot to shit. He should be suspended for at least 15 games. That was just violence with no reasonable explanation.
I pretty much agree with this.
I really like that phrasing: “optics”
Always appreciate the Chrono Trigger music.
He commits such acts every single game: eye poking, falling over players, grabbing players while in the air, sliding under players (he tried so hard to injure AD with the sliding trick last playoffs), etc.
And I really believe that Steve Kerr encourages such behaviour because he thinks it is conducive to winning. He played with Dennis Rodman 3 years and witnessed that first hand.
