1. So I often use free public wi-fi but public wi-fis are very unsecure. Hijacking your connection and accessing your data over a public Wi-Fi can be a basic level challenge for hackers.
2. Another reason why I use a VPN is cause I strongly believe that privacy is my fundamental right.
3. I stream often and I want more from my streaming experience. As you may already know, streaming services often donât offer the same shows and movies in every region. Pretty decent reason why to use a VPN, right?
4. Nevertheless, using a VPN can save me a surprising amount of money. Thatâs because booking websites - for hotels, flight tickets, even online shopping and services - offer different prices based on your location.

Do yâall recommend a vpn over a proxy for wanting to do âlocalâ SoMe activity in areas where VPN or Proxy located to not get banned but SoMe). Iâve heard that residential proxies are the best for avoiding banning. Hearing that if sites like FB see a VPN they will ban Acct/profile. Hogwash? Iâm wanting to connect to distinct local SoMe profiles for interaction, etc. What do you recommend to remove session fingerprints from browsers or does that matter with VPNs (Iâm ignorant) but know this is needed with proxies. They are of NO use to most people. They get sold with lots of bold claims and people do not need them. On mobile phones, data is so cheap, who would use free WiFi anywhere. For PCs and laptops, there is an alternative that also works on your phone. If you want to secure and encrypt your data the same way as a VPN does, but without all your data being sold, analysed and steered to sites that pay them, buy a raspberryPi. Run PiVPN and PiHole on it at home. Run Wireguard on your phone and laptop. You have created your own VPN. Everywhere you go you will connect back to home via an encrypted tunnel and be connected to the internet from there. You will always have your home IP everywhere you go and be able to access everything you can from home.
That provides excellent security for around ÂŁ40.
