1 Cup= 250ml
Ingredients
chana dal - ½ cup
toor dal - ½ cup
Dry chilli - 4
Fennel seeds - 2 teaspoons
Cumin seeds - 2 teaspoons
Garlic cloves - 10
Tomato - 2
Onion - 1
Rice flour - 1 tb
Small Chopped onion - 1 cup
Chopped coconut - 1/4 cup
Curry leaves
Oil - 2 tbl spoon
Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek - ¼ teaspoon
Turmeric powder
Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons
Coriander powder - 3 teaspoons
Salt
Tamarind juice of small amla size
Jaggery - 1/2 ts

Tried this today.kulsmbu was amazing..but the paruppu urundai was cooked well but it didn't absorb the kulambu...i followed exactly your method
due to unavailability i couldn't use coconut pieces i used dessicated coconut
Second one..paruppu mixture was very smooth or else I made the balls very tight
what would be the reason..could you please clarify because it would help many of the viewers
Desiccated coconut has the tendency to tighten the paruppu balls. So kindly follow the instructions in the video and try to use fresh coconut, you will get the perfection..
