just noticed you said in this video that the first riff is rather easier to play faster than slower. then decided to listen few live versions of do the evolution. they usually play it quite faster than the original!
yea a lot of their songs get a lot quicker live!

Hey do you know where i can finds the tabs of the live version of porch?
SRPALME4 thereâs a few live versions đ no idea mate, I figure out the tabs I use myself.
At about 4:00 you start to teach Stoneâs riff that starts with with the 1/4 step bends at 3 to open. Iâm really trying to nail the tone he has on the record. For this riff, do you think Stone uses pickups that are out of phase to get the sound he has on the record?
Try with tone half way down or with a wha pedal on middle position
I love your classes but I really miss what kind of effect you use on each song. What kind of pedal did you use for this song?
Thanks Fabiano! This is an older lesson đ I think for this I used my OCD or if you have a higher gain pedal just turn the gain down so you get a medium Overdrive tone đđ€

I actually cant remember what pedals i was using, but for PJ stuff my go to is the 1991 pedal now :-)

That and pedals but yea I use the Victory V40 in all my vids, just set almost clean, just on edge of breakup with a pretty neutral eq

Just been recording this for a cover with a friend of mine. Mike's part actually seems to have a fair bit going on in the cool riff and the choral section. Quite hard to hear it well enough on the album and he doesn't appear to do it all live either.
Not sure I picked out Mike's bits in another lesson. I feel a review of this lesson is in order!
@@LetsPlayAll itâs a great lesson, like all your stuff. Check out mikes like descending figure in the hallelujah bit, and thereâs some powerchords and fuzzed out shit over Stones cool riff too. He doesnât appear to make much effort on it live though, just kind of pounds away,

i don't get your strumming.. the tab show only the riff on E and A string, but it looks like you are strumming all strings
on the intro you mean? for that I'm just keeping my right hand loose and aim to strike the top 3-4 strings
