It is insane how music can transform you back to a time so long ago. Hearing this music turned me into a little girl all over again, and I was moved by the instruments and the singing. I'm feeling pretty emotional. I cannot believe I discovered this so late. Thank you so much for creating this moment of history and magic. The 90s may be behind us, but the wonderful memories are still alive and well--it does my heart good to see that.

The DiC dub is my favorite Sailor Moon soundtrack. It is the soundtrack of my childhood. You all played it beautifully. I cried when she started singing. Oh, the nostalgia!!!

I had both DiC soundtracks as a teenager! I used to have 'My Only Love' on repeat all the time! I'm over here crying listening to this!
Is it just me or am I the only one that prefers the Dic version of sailor moon over the Vic version? Just everything in the Dic dub was so much better. From the music and voice acting, to the nostalgic sailor moon says. The Dic version will forever be my favorite version of sailor moon.
Trust me when I say, you're not the only one. There's a whole world of us out here with you. The DIC version will live on in all of our hearts. I also don't mind the Cloverway Dubs either since they did seasons 3 and 4. But this newer Viz dubbing I can't stand it

I really do miss Mawlly's accent at the very least. And Luna's voice is a lot less maternal which I feel is a downgrade too.

I'm in my thirties and watched all 5 seasons of Sailor Moon over the past year. Having read the first few mangas and seen only the first season as a child, it was so nice to truly see and understand the full story of Sailor Moon. The powerful message of love truly opened my eyes and heart again in ways I didn't expect from an anime. Sailor Moon reminded me to be love and light no matter how dark the world gets, and to see the divine spark in everyone. I am so grateful to have taken the time to see all 5 seasons and even though I've watched season 2 to 5 in Japanese with English subtitles, the first season is so special in English dub because of the music and voice actors. Jennifer Cihi's voice bring such emotion so the songs. So much love. Still listening on December 1st 2021. 💖🌙 ✨ Jennifer Cihi, if you ever read this, know that your interpretation of these Sailor Moon songs has had such a positive impact on many including me. My Only Love, Carry On... your voice is powerful and beautiful. Thank you for making Sailor Moon so special. 💖
I keep coming back to this. I'm not a DiC purist--I love all sailor moon, and I really LOVE the original Japanese music. But this is my childhood. Power of Love and Carry On have burned channels deep into my brain

Never expected the words to hold more meaning as a 30 something and wow this song is still alive and well!
No matter how many times I hear it, Carry On still gives me chills just like it did when that episode aired all those years ago and I cried 😅
And instantly it is 1995 and I am eleven years old again.
I was 16 when it aired and I'm a guy and loved it.
This brought tears to my eyes, with how well it was performed. Brought me back to when I first saw some of the episodes as a teenager.
Say what you like about the changes made to the English adaptation of sailor moon, the music was KICK ASS!
+Lorne TC (KnowItAll) lol yep. Dic knew what they were doing when they hired her. A shame because of the editing they had to do in order to air it. Dic made up for it with reallly good vas and battle songs.

Well, the music is actually hit-and-miss. For every great song like Carry On, we get Only a Memory Away. None of it is bad, per se. It just feels very Americanized rather than unique. I think it would fit along most other soundtrack collections just fine, and that's where some of us have a problem with it. Sailor Moon stands alone among other anime in terms of its music. There is SO MUCH in Sailor Moon (which only ran for 200 episodes - DragonBall Z had 260 in ONE season!). The dub's soundtrack is good at times, modest at most. All in all, I feel it's just like every other American soundtrack out there. It's not as unique as the original.
That having been said, the music that is good is very good, and even the modest ones are catchy (I still enjoy Rainy Day Man). It certainly deserves its place.
DiC didn't HAVE to do any of those edits. That was their own editorial staff looking over this stuff. Very little was mandated by network heads, since the show was not syndicated for one network. Yep. You can point most of this blame squarely at DiC.

This takes me to one of the happiest times in my life. Just imagine waking up naturally on a weekend, stepping outside, and feeling a fresh breeze in their air. That is what something makes me feel when it takes me back. I also react this way to the Final Fantasy 5 soundtrack.

Just discovering your channel and its amazing! The Dic music was better than the original IMO. I’d love so much for you to do more renditions of the Dic version! This medley is great, but full length, high quality videos would be so awesome (like the transformation song).

DiC always had the best soundtracks for Sailor Moon! When I realized Japanese OST soundtracks it wasn't good as the American version. DiC totally nail it!
