I have tried Kettle and Fire, but what I noticed is that if I refrigerate any leftover portion, it does NOT form any gelatinous collagen the next morning which indicates it either does have it or it has been overly diluted with plain water. It is not a concentrated source of these nutrients.
Hi Dana, Great question! Yes, our Beef Bone Broth has 7g of collagen and our Chicken Bone Broth has 4g of collagen. However, I’d be happy to explain more on why our Bone Broth may not be gelling. We use a proprietary process for extracting the maximum amount of nutrients. This process can adjust the cell structure of the naturally occurring gelatin creating a broth that doesn’t have the same visual gelling but is more dense in actual nutrients. We would rather have more nutrients for our customers than this visual gelling any day! Especially since some other companies will add gelatin into their broth just to create this visual gelling.
I call BS on your statement. Mostly because your stock is flavorless. I don't believe you. It's also ridiculous to bother doing such a thing, even if you could.@@christophercomitini8619
Tons of salt! I don't think people realize how much salt is really there regardless of how good of a source that amount of salt I'm guessing as a preservative really sucks.
I'm still a bit pissed after using their product. I bought the highest dollar stock because i was making a high dollar ingredient soup. After roasting, sauteing, etc., their stock wrecked my efforts. I wish I had tried it first. It was equal to adding salty water.
More concentrated source of amino acids? That's quite the claim. At the very least, it seems to have protein on par with most other bone broths you can buy.

Making it, talking to your local butcher, or getting at as a supplement tends to be better due to the salt content found in any of these. It's almost equal to a pack of ramen at 740mg of salt! Yes, i understand the benefits of a little salt In things for absorbing but that's way too much. Plus that much salt will make you hungry later.
I love kettle & fire, at one point i was getting their soups alot but the shits too expensive $7.00 for that little ass box isnt worth it so ill likely keep drinking the fake shit until i get my own.
Only if it's legit. I have serious doubts. Their stocks are tasteless, and thin, watery. I don't know how they got into so many stores with such a weak product.
It's supposed to be thicker and tastier than stock, and give you more health benefits with added collagen. This brand is definitely not worth the $$. It lacks flavor, there's no depth or umami to it. Wasted money buying it.
Kettle and Fire had the weakest tasting stock I've ever had. Similar to dirty water. It was gross. In fact, in their instructions for use, you're supposed to put together a mirepoix in the pan prior to adding the so-called stock well at that point, might as well make your own. 👎👎 for k&f. Bleh.

Now that you mention it that is a red flag. Home made stuff is basically jellow once stored overnight.
@@marzero116hmm yes. A very good point, smnth to look out for when purchasing a store bought broth. 👀🤔

Butchers bone broth is legit
Yeah, but it is so expensive for a little container and also has tons of salt.
Tons of salt! I don't think people realize how much salt is really there regardless of how good of a source that amount of salt I'm guessing as a preservative really sucks.
I made bone broth for under $5 lol with bones spices and water maybe $10 if you don’t have spices/veggies and it makes 6-12 servings
So easy to make at home
