Honestly this song hits hard.... first 27 years didn't know who the fuck I was... multiple suicide attempts... severe addiction to stimulants for years... finally 10 months sober and this is the most I've known myself, and the best I've been mentally. I'm going to be going to College soon for something I'm truly fucking passionate about, Addictions and Social Work. Anyone who says I can't or won't I'll just say Fuck That. My best friend died earlier this year. She always would say “baby girl, don’t worry, things are going to get better. We aren’t always going to be held down by this life, by this matrix.” - Losing her to drugs devastated me, but it made me realize, I have to continue living this life, for me, for us. I have to live for her, and continue that vision to build that beautiful life. She was such an important spiritual teacher for me, but unfortunately her sadness got the better of her. She was such a beautiful person. I love this song, this music video, and the message. Thank you Mother, Mother for your incredible music 💖

Wow. Just Wow. The entirety of when I listened to this song for the first time, my jaw DROPPED. It felt as if I was levitating, like I ascended to a different universe, went through heaven, felt every emotion in existence at once. It was an overwhelming yet pleasant experience. This is a feeling I have only ever felt with your songs. You have been making music for years and years, yet each album, each song, has continued to far exceed my expectations. I cannot thank you enough for what you do. You have continued to pour your heart and soul into each and every song, which is what makes your music so special, and is something not many artists can achieve. Your music is so unique and so good at conveying raw, human emotion. That’s what makes it so powerful. So moving. So impactful. Each song is beautifully handcrafted and intricate. It speaks directly to people’s hearts. Your music has helped me, and so many other people, so SO much. Thank you, Mother Mother.
Although I am not entirely sure what the exact meaning of this song is about, I can relate to it a lot in my own, unique way. And I think that’s one of the things that makes your music so special. Recently I have been at one of the lowest points of my life, if not the lowest. I have attempted svjcide twice in the past year, and am struggling not to attempt again. I have no friends, no family that I can go to, and live in an area where mental healthcare is scarce. I feel completely alone. Yet music has been the one thing that continues to drive me, particularly your music. When I listen to your songs, it feels like I have a friend. Like I’m not so alone. That I CAN get through this. Your music speaks to my soul, it helps me live, and it’s made my problems all so much easier to bear. So thank you, Mother Mother. With all my heart, thank you. I don’t know if I would be here if it weren’t for you.

These 7 years since I saw your music in flipnote esk- anthro vids and landed on your channel have been just as tough as the childhood abuse and the post treatment chronic Lyme disease diagnosis at 20. Your music has been so much help while my skin feels like a blanket of fire and my joints get hyper mobile and deteriorate and my cognitive process disintegrates.
I don't know if it's just me but I saw many references to Everything Everywhere All At Once in the video, which is an insane coincidence because ever since we heard the first verse of the song I associated it with that movie and specifically Jobu Tupaki /Joy. It's just so perfect to see my favorite movie of all time mixed with my favorite band of all time even in the case in which it wasn't intentional, I cannot tell you how much I cried watching this, with the same intensity as I do while watching the movie, it's like you read my mind and took a look at my life and turned them into a song and video. Thank you Mother Mother, your Fam Fam loves you and we are eternally grateful to you, also, I loved all the easter eggs to the Mother Mother lore and the MMTV joke lol.
