#sopranonotes #sia #alive - Hudba
I LOVE how youâre able to break down her vocals and really back it up with evidence and explanations! Honestly shows how much knowledge you have!! Such an amazing video!!
Thank you Dan! âşď¸ I love that this was helpful for you.
React to more sia plz
I love ur reactions
very professional
Thank you!
One of the best "vocal coaches reacts" vids I've seen! Great job. also this Sia performance is *chef's kiss*
Thank you! And yes, I completely agree! I have been waiting on a chef's kiss emoji to explain her performances.
THANK YOU for debunking the tension myth. The worst advice I was given by voice teachers is that I'm not supposed to feel tension while singing. This caused me to blast air through my vocal folds, because it actually feels less "tense" than compressing properly.
I love Sia
Beautiful reaction.......could you also react to her singing chandelier live at caucet radio
Sheâs such an incredible artist.
She is a Queen my own đ
I really hope your channel blows up. Your reactions are so good and informal too.
So sweet. Thank you so much I appreciate the kind words âĽď¸
IKR, her reactions are priceless
Great reaction, Sia is incredible đĽ°đľđśđš
Amazing reaction, Sia is phenomenal please react more to her!
Your reaction has been one of the best reactions I've seen! I love your reaction so much! I recommend her performances in KCRW 2007 of her songs "Breathe Me" & "Distractions" they're so beautiful, I'm sure you'd enjoy them and find them very interesting vocally and emotionally!
Thank you! I am writing all of these down!
Please react this â¤ď¸
React again to Sia, please!! The suggestions in comments are awesome!
Really interesting technique analysis, about tension and muscles supporting the head in particular. Have to admit I was pleased in hearing the opera singer calling them "signature" cracks etc... I don't hear mistakes either. Love Sia, and again, an informative take, much more interesting than a simple reaction vid.
SÄ°A is present of Gods. And i love your video. You are a gem too. Gratitude. Pls. more SÄ°A. I became a member.
Thanks for this reaction ⤠We need more Sia please !
Pleaaase react to her performance on David letterman to "soon we'll be found"
Girl your fearlessness with that extreme closeup is a life goal.
Subscribed!! This is the most detailed and accurate reaction I've ever seen to this song - and I saw a lot, Sia is my queen!! Please keep reacting to her! For your next reaction I suggest another iconic performance of hers, older than this one, from 2008 (pre-wig era) - Soon We'll Be Found - live at David Letterman! Thank you again, you've made my day!
Thanks for another Sia recommendation! I love coming across performances I haven't seen. I've been living in an opera world for too long so this is SO helpful.
@@jessicasopranonotes Thank you so much, I have a big playlist with Sia live performances, I can feed you constantly. :))))
@@jessicasopranonotes yass, react to Soon We'll Be Found at Letterman!!
Was looking for more Sia videos that I hadnât watched and this was one of the only ones lol! Gorgeous video and reaction, you broke it down beautifully and intellectually. Keep it up, canât wait to watch more of your content (and possible future Sia stuff)!
Hey SP...Your comments throughout the vid made me sub... what you said resonated with me. You know what your talking about. Ernjoyed it.
I really really love your videos. You always mention so many interesting analysis that no one else is really talking about. So sick, keep it up!

Her voice is sweet and powerful đ My queen đ
omg thanks for react Sia ⤠please react "sia's best live vocals"
I love the insightful and very thoughtful approach to analyzing these performances. I too am a singer, trained in opera though I chose to pursue my own career as a singer-songwriter. My voice was saved when I had the great fortune of being introduced to a voice teacher who rescued himself through mastery of the techniques cultivated by the great singers of the bel canto repertoire. The most important pillars of physiologically-correct technique emphasize proper and efficient regulation of breath support, purity of vowels, focus on beauty of tonal production (purity of sound) and gauging the amount of and type of tension being exerted on the vocal apparatus. As you stated so articulately, tension cannot be entirely avoided and indeed some tension is necessary to produce and project sound. The error that many singers and (their teachers) make (especially when belting) is that they develop skills to negotiate through passages of destructive tension or incorrectly supported tension. I am a total admirer of your enthusiasm when making these videos and the sound knowledge you impart. đ
Oh wow, loved hearing your story! Thanks for sharing and for being supportive.
From one opera singer to another, much love!
Great reaction!
I really really hope you'l react again to her - Soon We'll Be Found live at David Letterman or my absolute favourite, a performance not very known, but perfect in my opinion - Somersault, live at KCRW 2008
SIA is one of the best (pop) sopranos ever...almost like contemporary classical music...like John Cage
more Sia pleeeeeease
nice reaction!!!
i like ur video, not just for ur reaction, but for ur informations u gave away.
got a sub from me sis.
Sia knows what she is doing but you know what you are talking about. You explain everything in a very, very clear way. I subscribed because of this so thank you đđť .... now... despite your tips, I still sound like đŠ when I sing đ¤Ł
Itâs in a completely different style I know but Iâd love it if one day you could react to some performances by Agnes Obel (The Curse in Berlin ; Myopia in NYC ; Fuel To Fire ; or whatever you want lol) :)
Really love your reaction videos.
The explanations and interpretations are clear, so well worded and interesting. Itâs a pleasure to listen to you and it makes me learn loads especially how you interpret musical and technique choices in regards to the lyrics.
Lots of love from France â¤ď¸
Thanks my dear
Please, react to her singing titanium live
I would like to point out that this version of the song is transposed down from the studio recording which makes it easier to achieve consistent support for high notes. That is not to discredit Siaâs talent and is not taking into account potential reasons for the modulation downward, one of which could be a head cold that may compromise range or any number of environmental factors that affect singers unexpectedly.
Sia is amazing! Thanks for reacting â¤ď¸ Please react to Cosmic Love by Florence live at SiriusXM next :) her vocals are so operatic
Thank you for the recommendation! I have never seen that performance before âşď¸
Soprano Notes Very excited to see your analysis to it! Her voice is unbelievable
Can you react to her chandelier perfomance on snl?
I loved hahađš
âşď¸ Thanks!
Hi, I miss you reacting to SIA! I still hope for you to react to an old performance of hers and GOD, I am obsessed lately with Somersault - live at KCRW 2008 - I really think this is her best live performance and I would love to hear your thoughts!
Please react to Iza - Dona de Mim. She is a brazilian singer that serves the voice, the charisma and the visuals. Really really really interesting to watch and listen to.
Sia is Australian mate
â¤ď¸ Can you react to her letterman performance?
Yes! Soon We'll be Found
I really love your analyses! I don't know much about music but you make everything make sense. I would love it if you could react to Beth Hart - Am I the One at Paradiso or Ill Take Care of you in Amsterdam. Curious to know your thoughts.
Pleaseeee REACT TO
Sia Elastic Heart ( Live UK The Voice )

Can you please react to Jennifer Hudson singing hallelujah
Lisa Fischer, How Can I Ease The Pain.Live in Japan.

Wonderful reaction! Sia is indeed incredible. Are you familiar with Dimash kudioburgen? He's probably the best singer alive, please react to his songs in this order, SOS , Sinful Passion, Opera2 , Ogni Pietra , you will be blown away I promise you.
Could you react to her old song Somersault at KCRW?
The 2008 version is the best one.... that ending is divine
That performance is PERFECTION! I am so happy to see other people requesting it!
I looove your reactions Jessica. Can you please react to Mariah Careyâs âIf itâs Overâ live at the 1992 Grammys. Itâs vocally so amazing
Omg old school Mariah Carey đđ Great great recommendation!
Chandelier will blow you away, react to it please.
Can you please react to Veruca salt song called So weird
Live version Please
Such good explanations, can you please react to another Australian singer, Dami Im sound of silence â¤ď¸
Do you think classical and operatic music will have another renaissance amoungst younger people if aired more?
I remember from a few years ago Sia needed to stop touring, i believe it was throat issues. Does anyone have further info or an update on this?
Sia was never comfortable with the limelight.
It was too much. She backed off after this album. She went back to drafting songs for other artists and is laying low.
Hey can I ask somethin?
Whoâs better?
Sia
Or
BlackPink?
Or?
*Both*
How can you even compare a complete artist like Sia with those silly girls?
@@lovers_cult ngl, u kinda got a point...BUT... black pink isnât that bad
Please react Cristina Ramos "Show most go on"
You are amazing! And please react to Mariah's 2005 BET blueprint performances!!!
Thank you!!
The Video of sias performance is too quiet :( But your reaction ist great. I love the explaining
Ah, I'm so sorry! I noticed that too and tried rue-loading with a louder sound but CZcams re-blocked it because of copyright issues. I will take note of this for my future videos!
Please react to Lisa Fischer "How Can I Ease The Pain" live in Japan...I promise its great! :)
Can you react to Shreya Ghoshal live ??
She's an India singer...you should definitely listen to Indian classical music...
Wow, I just looked her up and saw that she performed at my alumni college back in 2017. I'm so impressed!
Unfortunately you didnât mention her nodules. It was amazing but the nodules sound was very present and she pushed so much her voice. I had nods to because I sang this kind of song. Itâs not a good thing. Perhaps you should listen chandelier at gma. (Sorry if I wasnât clear. Iâm French)
Sia doesn't have nodules, never had. Adele had nodules, not Sia. And in that GMA performance you are talking about, she simply had a very severe cold.
You need the audio up on the video somehow your voice blows the video audio out of water?
One thing that's always bothered me about Sia is her frequent and sustained use of break for effect. To me, it sounds painful, and like she's tearing her vocal chords apart. How do those noises get made without damage? I think the best "crying" sound I've heard is probably in "Hanging On" by Ellie Goulding, but that's done with a combination of a specific voice tone, and a literal effect of momentary auto-tune.
Sia's vocal breaks are natural - she's not struggling making them, her voice goes this way. Of course, in over 20 years of experience, she learned to control them and to place them in some parts of the song for a bost of emotion. For me, her vocal breaks are gorgeous
The audio of what you listen to needs to be louder.
