I have mysophobia as well. I absolutely HATE germs and being around sick people, cuz being sick is like hell for me. But damn, that lady went to extreme lengths to prevent germs. That was very wrong what she did, abandoning poor little Ruby like that. At least she learned the error of her ways, and even learned to love Ruby.
All this testing for diseases could have been done BEFORE the wedding! She ruined their wedding day because of her insecurities. Matt should have called off the wedding and get an annulment.

Second the medications that she'd be on they may not become parent's and when the meds wore off the symptoms would be 10 time's worst to put it blunt the medication is about living with the mental illness not curing it.

It's known as O.C.D Germ phobias is apart of The mental illness I mean I'm surprised she didn't wear gloves.
She needs medication but exactly which formula will work on her that's a whole other story some people go through a number of formulas before they find the one that work's.
O.C.D just means obsessive Compulsive Disorder taking Ruby away like she did is truly the Compulsive side of the illness but she hasn't been on any medication so that reasoning would of possibly prevented her for taking the dog away!

If someone made me choose between them and my dog, I would choose my dog only because that person gave me an ultimatum. Dogs are members of the family, and you just don’t throw your family into shelters just because you don’t like them. This woman never knows how to compromise.
