Take the "The Three Mountains" achievement from eu4. To get t, you must conquer the whole world as Ryuku. Literally tiny Japanese islands with no army, navy or effective way to declare war.
The trailer timeline is actually only 15% divergent from the Red Alert 3 timeline.

You just send 2 million soldiers to their deaths in the russian winter in a massive slaughter versus millions of soviets soldiers. But there is no graphic representation of that, and no "strong language" involve, so is family friendly (Pegi 7) xD
Paradox games always have a super low Pegi rating due to the fact that all their games are basically just maps with buttons.

the reason why ww2 games are so popular, is that it's still fresh in human memory. It's fading now but it's still fresh in the children of ww2. A grandfather that died recently slept amidst the explosion of german bombs in a bomb-proof cage. My grandmother was three when she germans occupied northern italy in 1943, and her sister hid an american soldier there, too, and her brother was killed by a soviet soldier, her father was a member of mussolini's party, and some of the family were partisans.
A grandmother was born in new zealand at a time when a japanese invasion seemed like it was imminent, and a great- great aunt in croatia still remembers the day the germans crossed over.

I did, with infantry, without a single airplane, no encirclement just push - all ended by June 1940. And that is it... then you just sit and watch until the time passes and your navy is built if you want to go against the USA or UK... but you don't really have to.
