HotD is written from a point of view to show Blacks as saints and Greens as seemingly complicated but ultimately dumb characters. And who the eff put Otto in prison! Like wtf 😒 When Season 3 airs, I would just watch it but I won't be that excited. Most of my friends stopped watching it after episode 6. Guess I would do the same.
In the book, Blacks are even much saint written by author and greens are villains completely. In the show, they showed much good angles of team green but in the book Alicent wasn’t a best friend of Rhaenyra. She was 9 years older than her. Alicent conspire and Rhaenyra intentionally in the book.
The only good thing about this finale the way the designers designed sheepstealer ....unkept, sacred, rabidish ......like a wild beast and not well maintained dragons of the targaryens
In all honesty, jace should not be angry with the dragonseeds who claimed the dragons. They could have been given title as honorary Targaryens house UlF House Hammer. Advantage is their bloodline can be mates with the royal line if no available targaryen is available to pair with an incumbent king or queen. The dragons did choose them. No matter how diluted they are. These would also ease the very close incest in them. Yet it is said thay they prefer to keep the targaryen blood higher in concentration. It is better than marrying them to noble house who always bring trouble.

this became another woke disaster. they needed two years for this few 8 episodes? endless talking in circles at the maptable. a short dragonfight in episode 4 and countless daemon visions at harenhall? the meetings between alicent and rhaenyra were both silly. second were alicent just walked into dragon stone even more so. She's the enemy number 1 but just appeared surprisingly in the lions den like she was invited to a tea party. laughable. lesbian kisses with white worm. and all the women are portrait as the victims of evil men but act as the true heroins who try to safe the day. This show lacks of likeable characters, excellent sharp dialogues, great story plotlines and since miguel left also great cinematography. in 2 years i wont even bother anymore. we got teased with the season 1 finale only to get to be teased again in this finale. this story would have worked so much better as a 3part movie like lord of the rings. this series format just takes too long with those 2 years break in between. people wont wait till 2028 to finally see the dragon dance while getting served with boring filler material till then.
Oh so they definitely did cut out Nettles. The only lore accurate POC character that had an infintely more interesing and badass story coming from nothing and taiming a dragon all on her own proving she is just as good as any Targaryen. Also one of the few characters that is a commoner in a very classist society and royalty centerd story. And they have just swapped her for another basic Targ princess No. #16. So much for representation. This show is so badly written.
