I wanted to thank you for the only channel I can get technical information on the Duromax 440. I can get instructions on parts or assembly elsewhere (ie: redbeard) but not the testing to back it up as to what will and will-not work. I wanted to contact you elsewhere other than this public forum but this will work. I would like to see how you hooked up your tach and where you purchased it. The links are always helpful. As a 68 yo man I can't retain info without seeing a video anymore. Anyway, thank you for your work. Your information is more valuable than you know.
Might be a fun project to make a dyno with John, not measuring device but a way to put a load on the engine for stationary testing of an engine under load for tuning tests.

At about 17:45 is that fuel leaking out of your carb/air filter every time you close the throttle?
Nice
So....the pilot jet IN COMBINATION WITH the main jet, equal the final "running jet" size?
This carb has a 3 jets an idle and twin main jets. To answer the question the combination of the twin is your final.
I am seeing spikes at 67-6900.
