Fira and Perissa Santorini Greece - Cyclades Travel Vlog 2021 (Thera and Black Sand Beach)

- In this 2021 travel vlog we are going to check out Perissa Beach for the black sand beaches. Then we will head over to the Fira (Thera) Santorini main square. Finally we will try to find a good spot for the famous Santorini sunset.
In case you are new here, we are Will and Katy. We are a travel couple that is traveling around the world. We are currently in Greece. We hope to show you what it is like to travel in 2021!

The beach was like something straight from a movie and the crystal clear water was unreal! Surprising the sand wasn’t hotter. Oh wow that view from up top 👌👌👌!!

From start to finish santorini is absolutely one of the most majestic places in all the world it has 360 degree breathtaking views from everywhere you can see the blue water the landscape just looks magical unbelievable for this place, mere words don't do it justice santorini is an extraordinary place that you must see for yourself, thank's again witytravels for sharing this amazing one of a kind adventure 🐴 🐴

I spotted a Vegetarian Falafel place to eat at minute 4:58 on this vlog when I go there down the line. Oooooh and at minut 5:46 you speak of an Indian & Thai restaurant. The humidity here in Cancun is at 85% icky sticky!!!! Save Water, Drink Wine and then beacuse of the darn hangover🥴🤢🤮,You Have To Drink Tons Of Water To Rehydrate Yourselves🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Didn´t see that one coming now did ya´. You guys are definitely rocking it with these awesome and informative and even funny donkey vlogs. Keep up the great work Katy and Will. Yeah the black sand beach was a really awesome experience, there is a red rocks beach too, but we didn’t have time to see it, you’ll have to check it for us when you go! And let us know how those restaurants are too !

I know I've said it before but I really love the look of those white buildings under such a saturated blue sky - amazing! The black sand beach looked beautiful, can't believe how cold it was! You can't beat a free sample - it would have been rude not to! Another great Greek sunset, no better way to end a day. Looking forward to seeing more from your adventure in Greece.
It's fair. How incredible the white washed buildings and the blue skies are can't be talked about enough. The black sand did get hotter after a few minutes lol. Yes, we did not want to be rude! 😂 🇬🇷

Crowd is not too bad. But as more countries are allowed in and it gets more into summer it will just get busier. Hope it's not too overwhelming in July when you come.

Falafal is so good! Yes, we like to do our part to save water! 😂 🚱🍷 Greece temperatures are in the higher 70s but there is no humidity which is awesome! It appears to be a star wars logo! Good eye! 🖖
Very nice, when you went to Perissa beach, was it June, so the water is still cold even in June?
It may have been the end of May, but the water was still cold.

are the beaches mostly open to the public? free or fees?
The beaches are all open and free. At some of them it you want a sun lounger you need to pay or order food and drinks

How many nights would you recommend for honeymoon in Santorini?
As many nights as possible! You can probably see everything and have a great time if you give yourself 5 to 7 days.
so, that nice lady that gave you the sample sesame snack and the wine tasting--did you feel pressured to buy something? I mean, obviously, that's what they would like but culturally, do they feel insulted if you don't?
At those prices we didn't feel pressured to buy anything! 😂 But the snack was nice and sweet and the wine was tasty. They were trying to get everyone that passed to come in and sample; so they weren't offended. When we went to Podgorica we did a wine tasting and they had bottles for sale at affordable prices so we bought some at that time.
How incredibly beautiful! I almost saw a black sand beach in Hawaii- but we happened to go when the volcano was erupting so that part of the island was not accessible!!!😳 I had no idea about the volcanic history of that island and damn what a beautiful sunset to end the day -great video!
Yea, Hawaii was the only beach we heard of that had black sand (not that we Googled it or anything lol). That stinks you couldn't visit it when you went. Yea, we found a good spot for the sunset. Thanks for watching!
