I always thought “donk” was short for donkey, what the “Impala” emblem reminded some of.
@@drippinglass That's the story I've seen repeated. Most people learned the word from a scene that customizes the cars a certain way and that's what stood out. So now they'll argue passionately that the word is in reference to the style instead of those particular models. People are learning though.

I'm not a huge fan of the wheels, but if those are real Forgiato wheels, they prob cost as nearly as much of the all the upgrades to that car combined (paint, interior, etc)

Some like them rims I guess. Nice interior except for the ugly steering wheel. I had a '72 442 Custom, removed the front bumper and smoothed the front, added nerf bars and custom paint. This is all fixable. This looks overpriced by ten thousand or so. Did you see all the leaks? Love you all but Come On!

@@benjamanmitchell7626 yeah updates were cool, I was sick of the old stuff like working guages and horn and easily accessible wiper switch. Thank god they got rid of all of that junk
They fell short with the wiring might as well bring the switches into the dash if your going to do that.., but everything else is sweet

My olds 442 is not set up like this, but gets a lot of attention when stopped at gas stations. Surprising more than my 70 chevelle SS or 64 chevy c10.

Well, not to offend anyone, but the huge rims & tires would have to go! 15" rims 60's all around & a set of nice aluminum rims! Everything else is awesome! Beautiful!!

What makes it even more obvious is the builders considered to be the best in the business also run big wheels. Foose, The Ring Brothers, Ridler Award winners, etc. Their cars are called masterpieces. I can't imagine what the difference is.
