very strange how the 2021 and 2022 games were very similar. The 2021 game in Knoxville, Pitt got behind 10-0 and had a punt blocked and ultimately rallied for a 41-34 win and the game in Pittsburgh last year it was Pitt who jumped out to a 10-0 lead and it was Tennessee that rallied to a 34-27 OT win and Pitt also had blocked a Tennessee punt in this game. Two really good games between Pitt and Tennessee.
I gotta hand it to Nick Patti for finishing out the game on one leg practically. He took a beating much worse than Slovis did in the first half. Hats off to him
Funny how people are poking fun at us over this performance yet almost everyone seemed to struggle this week lol Pitt isn't a pushover team (regardless what people want to think) and imo if not for a couple dumb mistakes and penalties we would have won in a MUCH better and impressive fashion.
Yeah, I don’t know why anyone would be making fun of the Vols this week, when they beat a ranked team on the road, and in the same week when you can make fun of Notre Dame, Texas A&M, or Nebraska for losing to the opponents they lost to, which were completely inexcusable losses.

I love Todd Blackledge. He’s one of my favorites. The other guy, Sean McDonald I’m not so enamored with him. With every play, he has something negative to say. Even if the plays a success.
yall notice how many times Pitt had linemen down the field? On that pop up from the linebacker banks that the TE caught at about 23:30. The linemen were behind the linebackers. Several times this game that happened and no call.
On the blocked punt the dude was offsides. Clear as a bell. The referees were cheating, and they were in favor of Pittsburgh. Just kidding. It was a good block punt. One heck of a game.
