  • The Leisure Travel Van doesn't come with the ability to have the rear view camera be "always on". So a third party solution is necessary if you want to see what's going on behind you as you travel. Last year I added a battery / solar powered option that has worked well, but has limitations.
I was sent this review unit from a company called "TX", that has what appears to be a great solution. #leisuretravelvan #RVbackupcamera #LTV @Leisurevans

This is a great review, thank you so much! I just received the kit, the quality feels good, the image quality is very good. It is not as wide angle as I’m used to and I’m curious how others are finding it before I swap out the camera. Thanks

Great solution. Agree, it’s not as wide angle as what I am used to either

Thank you so much for making these videos! I am watching every single one of them. I just convinced my wife of 32 years that it's time to explore our country and purchase our very own LTV Unity FX. As you, I'm also living in TX. My closest dealer is in Albuquerque, NM. I now have to figure out how to actually get one. Keep creating these inspiring videos. Greetings from El Paso, TX

Great! So glad they are helpful. You can't go wrong with the FX!

LTV should be installing rear and side cameras for safety of changing lanes! Much cheaper RV’s already have them installed during builds and much easier to do during build! It’s truly a shame LTV doesn’t have these!

Good idea, definitely should be standard equipment

FYI, my 2019 Unity has the ability to turn the camera on full time. Of course my 2019 is built on a left over 2018 chassis, yours is the new version chassis that switched over in 2019, so they must have eliminated that, wonder why.

Not sure why, but it’s very frustrating

Where do I get the 12 V power for the rear camera?

You need to feed into existing wiring in rear of vehicle.

Plenty of power in the back. Tail lights, existing camera, license plate light
