‘Real betrayal from our government’: Anger mounts over Labor’s support vote for Palestine

- Australian Jewish Association President Dr David Adler has slammed the Albanese government after it voted in favour to back the motion of Palestine joining the United Nations.
Australia and 142 other nations passed the General Assembly resolution on Friday (local time) by recognising Palestine's qualification to join the organisation.
“The Jewish community is shocked, devastated, angry, but most of all there is a feeling of real betrayal from our government,” Mr Adler told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Not only has it turned on Israel our only democratic ally in the Middle East, it has turned on the Jewish people.
“It has betrayed the Australian people, it is contrary to our values to align this country with Hamas.
“It is handing a reward to the terrorist.”

This is Australia’s vote from a democratically elected government who voted yes along with 143 other nations with only nine against.

Take for example the Voice, which it seems they are doing their best to ignore and over rule the largest majority of Australians who voted against it.
