For today's video, I am sharing a really awesome and cool wood project for my friend's monthly collaboration - What Wood You Make. This collab requires us to use wood in our project and that is it. I couldn't find a plunger with wooden a handle. I did find a 36 inch dowel for .78 at Walmart. I cut them down to size. I'm starting this project tonight. Thank you for posting this video

Great video and ideas! Thanks for sharing the 6x desire finished length. That was so helpful.
In thanks, I offer my suggestions: One could attach the finished hammock with eye bolt screw into either end of the dowel, which could be hooked onto cup hooks screwed into the underside of the cabinet (just make sure the screw part isn’t longer than the thickness of the shelf). Also, one can buy plain dowels and have a choice of diameter, and not have to pay extra for a plunger and cut up the handle.
If you didn’t want to screw into the cabinet, you could screw the cup hooks into a piece of wood (e.g. 1”x1” lumber cut to length) and use the double sided tape to attach the wood to the cabinet. As the wood piece will be flat, it will hold more securely with less tape.
The double hammock is a great idea to separate fruits. Love the look too, TFS

Have you tried making one? It’s not hard. Trust me. Once you get the hang of it, you won’t be able to stop making them 😂 unless you have to do a ton at the same time…then that’s a different story. Lol.

So I made it and it wouldn't hold any fruit. The apple kept rolling out. Not sure if I made the knots to far apart or to close. I don't think I hung them too close together. I took it apart and going to redo it tonight
