I was just reading that Tessa and Scott never got to go full power with this Pink Floyd program because Tessa had horrible pain in her shins all year, sometimes so bad that she could only practice routines for thirty seconds at a time. I think I can tell that she's under some strain here, and she leans down and touches her shin when it's over. And yet they did such great stuff in this program! Really brave.
Tessa had just gone through her first leg surgery not too long before competing that season. This is my favorite free dance of theirs, but the execution of it could have been more amazing had Tessa not been in so much pain and they could have had more time to prepare. and yes, I heard the same thing as well- that the only time they were able to do complete run-throughs of this program was during competitions. If you read their book, it talks a lot about this period of time in their skating career and it was really difficult for them.
Gosh, Tessa really ressembles Gabriela Papadakis here. She's grown into such a gorgeous lady, but she looked great then as well. Anyways, I hope to see a similar style, but more refined program in their 2018 olympic free dance.

Resemblence from Papadakis?? you mean in her looks?? different beauty I guess and not I don´t think it was a good idea the surgery thing though now she looks pretty as well...And about skating Tessa is much better ice dancer....the best in my opinion....I think Gabriela has improved but she is so lucky to have a partner like Cizeron.
@@mela1736 I think they meant 5th best lady in the world. I would probably agree that Gabriella is not the best lady in the world. Madison Chock is probably better and so is Madison Hubbell.

Actually Papadakis is not the best lady skater in the world if she didn't have Guillame then she would be in 5th place.
