You are doing a great job with your reviews. I wish BMW would update the gauges to offer a classic look. I don’t mind it being digital but let us set up classic white on black round gauges.

I wanted to get a cognac interior as well but they told me the premium seat package does not come in cognac. too bad. I had to settle for black on black:)

One small correction - this car is 540i with a M sport package, not M performance. M sport is a package and M performance is a trim on its own, which will be M550i in the case of 5 series.

Thanks buddy, but this one actually has a package called M Performance Package (Canadian spec), which includes the M Sport Brakes and Dynamic Damper Control. It is $2000, you can see it if you build one on bmw.ca.

@@MotorPressReviews Wow, you're right. Canada site has M performance package which is kinda totally different from BMW websites in US and Germany. We have M sport package and Dynamic handling package which will take care of the M sport looks, dynamic dampener, and the LSD.

What’s the difference between a regular 540 and a 540 m sport
BMW did a good job with the LCI. Would love to get my hands on the M5 Competition though.

Not yet, maybe later this summer.
One bad thing about the LCI though: They took away options. For example: Can't get the adaptive suspension in the 530i, at all. Can't get rear-wheel steering in the 540i, at all. Can't get the Bose upgrade ala-carte any more (530i or 540i). Can't have the option to upgrade to the B&O system until you get to the M550i. And I think the acoustic windshield only comes in the M550i now too. And there's more I'm forgetting. Kinda lame configuration change, IMO.
Maybe in the USA it’s the case, but at least in Canada you can pick most of those options. I don’t think rear-wheel-steering is one of them tho.
@@MotorPressReviews -- Yeah; I just went to the BMW canada site and it has options that we don't get now, in the US.
Bose? B&O? What are you talking about? G30 never had Bose or B&O. Think you're confusing these brands with Harman Kardon and Bowers & Wilkins. Sure options are different for MY21.
Any reviews on massage seats?
When equipped, they are pretty good but Mercedes and Audi make better ones.
I own the new 3 series and now want something a little bigger and with slightly softer suspension. The 5 series is almost as quick as my M340i so performance isn't a big issue.
I have to disagree with your statement about the 3 series having less quality than the 5.
Compare the lower trim panels between the 3 and the 5. Not much room to disagree.
