Have you ever just worked on your trills? There's a really good exercise in Taffanel and Gaubert’s 17 Grande Exercises at the very end of the book that you can use to work on your trills and to learn your trills. But today I just want to talk about the fingers that you use for your trills. Because oftentimes I think we use the wrong fingers.
The bottom line: Move Your Fingers Up
Practicing trills correctly exercises your weak fingers and improves your technique.

I always moving down the finger to trill keys

I know lots that do. My point is that it is more efficient for each grill key to have its own finger and the one finger doesn’t have to do two trills.

Wow, I didn't realize I should do the regular C# trill (not the fancy one next to the B flat key) with the middle finger... Oops. Gotta relearn it now. Thanks for the tip!
