Haunting but beautiful music. Nice Job Dan. I'm looking for the full length version.

I've watched this film four times now. I'm just as blown away by the visual experience as I'm blown away by the film score. Dan, you really did something beautiful with this score. Your music (and I'm guessing you're responsible for the sound design as well) is half the experience for me.

Hi Dan, your work on the score for MAD GOD was exceptional - the film itself was clearly a labour.. of love and hate both. But your music helped me and my friends as audience members connect to the often horrifying, surreal and occasionally beautiful scenes. Long Way Down got its hooks into me and still has the same impact when it shuffles on :)

That's very kind of you to say. The music helped me connect to the images too!

Dan Wool, I am a HUGE fan of your work in this film. It amplified the film in SO many ways! It's been haunting my mind for so long. I have the entire OST saved on my phone, and I listen to a lot of parts of it regularly for inspiration with my own work.
I think my favorite parts of your score are definitely both the varients of *Woken*, despite one of them not appearing in the film, I still found it in the official OST and I love it. The guitar strumming that appears throughout a few portions of *Conveyance*, *A Long Way Down*, and *Shitwork* are also amazing. The part in War Tourist with the Harpsicord sounding instrument (the part with the warzone & explosions) is also majestic as all hell, and I love it.
There's also a melody that can be found throughout almost all of the soundtrack in *A Long Way Down* , *Headhole* , *War Tourist* , and even *Alchemy* that I love. It is truly inspiring. Cannot say enough how much I adore your work in this film 🙏

Well, shucks dankmotionsstudio5161. That's all very nice of you to say! I'm honored to have a place on your phone, and in your head. It's sort of a weird score, so it's nice to hear from people for whom it works.
Right, the Woken yodel choir thing on the Waxwork OST is my mix and a different one than what's in the film. The film's sound designer, Richard Beggs' mix is on the alt Music+FX version OST I put up a while back ...here, if you haven't seen it: danwool.bandcamp.com/album/soundtrack-for-phil-tippetts-mad-god-music-effects-version-feat-richard-beggs-2
      Thanks again!
