I wish they'd implemented some way for Pheonix to not be a time killer. Such as being able to target the orbs to forcibly spawn the creatures or something.

Ahaha I don't want to start over and go through another 10 rounds of frustration again lol😂 That's the reason I follow up Counterstance with Triple Slash over Braver coz the last time I tried the risky game...yes I did die coz Braver has longer wind-up. Triple Slash has zero wind-up so it's an instant finisher before Spatial Distortion can kill me

On paper it should...but I don't have genji items and I won't bother farming for them coz the time and effort completing all those mini games just to obtain the prerequisite materials to unlock higher transmutation level for crafting them simply isn't worth it in my book when I can already start enjoying doing challenge runs. I am having a blast without genji items so far
@@cloudcsI was at the point of no return in ch 13 and refused to continue playing when I had the CSWS bug for g bike. I was able to farm for the genji craft mats. I was wondering if you had noticed any differences in damage break points which I'm guessing you have with your finishing pattern. I would've thought genji gloves would be right up your alley being that challenge runs also become speed runs which also tend to be stylish as hell

Maybe but I am out of slots to pop time materia and I need all materias that I already pre-equipped.
I didn't use Darkside at Phoenix and Jabberwock coz:
Phoenix: The last time I used darkside, it still nets me the same result (I still need double Disorder + Aerial Onslaught to kill Phoenix). So there's no reason for me to suffer unnecessary hp damage if it's gonna net me the same result.
Jabberwock: He's pretty squishy so Darkside wouldn't be that necessary
Ok I see well you have fury ring equipped but you're using prime mode to get the fury buff so what if you replaced fury ring with Hermes shoes since you can get the fury buff through prime mode?
Fury Ring is there as contingency measure. When my prime berserk buff wears off, I lose all buffs including normal berserk. Fury Ring ensures I still have normal berserk intact and having a buff is better than nothing. Also, there are times where I don't have the time and space to apply prime berserk and having Fury Ring equipped is pivotal in keeping my dps in check when I don't have prime berserk up
