- Hey I wanted to try something different. No talking just straight riding. I recently low ended the bike. I've just got it back on the road changed the tires to the Metzler 888 which I must say are sticky and better. Anywho Enjoy the ride.

Hey guys, I would like to first say thank you for the support and not killing me in the comments haha. I’m glad most of you noticed I’m a new rider and went easy on me. The tips you’ve shared have greatly improved the way I ride this bike. I appreciate the support so far!
The sound of that engine is pure bliss thank you for no music Harleys don't.need it
Ain’t that just the truth!!
@@nabutani sure is
yeah, the sound of the bike IS the music!!!
Hey bro, awesome ride for a newbie! I enjoy the enthusiasm, remember to stay relaxed. Keep a steady throttle so u don't have to rev all the gears up, ride safe my man!
Yeah this bike got me way too excited haha! I’ve learnt to ride her to my style without Revving up all those gears haha. Thanks for watching the video!
@@nabutani Its an awesome bike man and ur privileged to ride that beauty!
Beautiful place with amazing atmosphere!
It really is! I’m glad you enjoyed it haha!
its a dream of mine to have my own cruiser so watching your vids make me want it more haha
Yeah I come from sports bikes and it’s a completely different kind of animal haha! I hope your dream comes true soon!!
Nice dude.
I got a 2017 Forty Eight. I just got a custom paint job done on the tank and a saddlemen seat. I've been loving every moment.
Very nice! I need to get my tank done also, not sure what colour yet. What did you get? And how’s that seat?
@@nabutani I got the born scum x saddlemen If it makes any difference. I love it so far. A lot of people were saying it’s uncomfortable but for me it’s like riding on a cloud as far as I’m concerned.
My tank is an old school cholo paint job for the most part. It’s a root beer color with a bunch of random water drop, drag scale affects when you look at the tank at different angles.
@@ramblinjay3816 Hopefully I get one done soon, I would love a custom paint job haha. Stay safe out there and have fun!
Mine is a 2016 model, love it
Nice bike my men, finally someone that warm up the bike before go riding haha. Ride safe and again,
nice bike
Ahh thank you! I really appreciate it and I’m glad you enjoy the videos haha
I love those handlebars
Ah man... i just love the 48. I went for my test a few months ago with the intention of buying a 48, im probably too tall and would look stupid on it but one day i will own one! I ended up getting for my first bike a VFR 800 off a friend from work, not my style at all but its got me on the road! Everyone tells me whatever you do, dont buy a harley. I know this is the bike i want one day, when i can afford one! I'll just have to stick to the V4 til i can afford this beautiful evo 48. Nice ride man 🤘
Ahh what made you feel that way? Foward controls help with having you stretched out on the bike! I was actually in the market for a Yamaha MT07. I had no intention of getting a Harley. Then I rode one and just fell in love with it’s character. It was weird haha, now I own a 48 and wouldn’t swap it for the world. Yeah I would definitely agree and say enjoy the ride you have now, as that was one you was blessed with. In terms of not getting a bike, I learnt the hard way. People who tell you to not get one, more time never owned one themselves. I would of told you to stay away and get a Yamaha but look now I’ve rode a Harley, for the cruiser it is. I would recommend the hell out of it. As my dad would say “Take care of the bike and the bike will take care of you. Don’t let the bike ride you, ride the bike”. Happy to have you here man! Until you get yours, you can enjoy these rides with me. 🦾
Idk how tall you are, but I’m 6’4” and the bike feels very comfortable for me
Keep doing what you do! Love the vids bro💪🏽
Thanks! Will do!
❤️Harley davidson and good sound exhaust 👍🏽🙏🏽wish 🙏🏽... safe ride😎✌🏽
Thank you!! ❤️💯🦾
I like the way you rev it up! hahaha You know how to get the juices flowing. Me likey.
Have a great day, mate!
Ahh I’m glad you enjoyed it haha, I’ve learned to rev it right now haha!!😂😂🤭🏍️💨
Nice bike bro! I have a stage 1 2007 sporty and love everthing about it. Ride safe!
Eyy that’s a beautiful bike! Yeah I love these sportys? My first ever Harley. What air intake did you use?
@@nabutani yeah man I use an aftermarket filter i don't know what brand , it was already on the bike when I bought, same with the dyno tune and python exhaust
I can hear this all day
Man me too haha, we are definitely petrol heads! 😂🥹
Good day to you!
I am a senior rider on HONDA motorcycle from Japan.
I am enjoying camping ,touring and upload video.
Your ride video is so nice!
Awesome!
Full supported !
Have a nice day my friend!
Good day to you also! Thank you for sharing with me! I also love Hondas, camping and touring. I appreciate the support!
Nice video. Bike sounds awesome! Practice rev matching as you down shift to help you slow down. Also, practice using your rear brake so you don't have to rely or use your front brake until you're almost at a full stop. Think of it as though your front brakes are out and you can only use your rear. This will help you control your bike and speed but most importantly it will help you break the habit of hammering the front brakes unless you absolutely have to.
Yeah I needed this! I appreciate you man! Thanks, I’ve been struggling with my braking in the Harley 🥹
Uhm, your front brake is 70% of your stopping power. Why would you not use it? That is piss poor advice.
Biker here with 8 years of experience. I have never used my front brakes for stopping unless theres a senseless rider in front of me.
@@sebastianstorm528 that’s not really a badge of honor. More like makes you a piss poor rider lol your stopping distance is likely half if you properly used your brakes.
@@nabutaniI’m about to get a 2016. I know I’m going to be terrible for downshifts I’m coming off of gsxr
man...this is making me wish I had my motorcycle learner's permit already
How long you get till you get it?
@@nabutani I haven't even begun to study yet LOL
great sound man☺
Thank you 😋
I liked this video. When I ridie with him using the low rpm and hight gear ratio
Normally high gear not over 2500rpm 80~100km/h. That's beautiful sound hear.
Thanks for sharing. I will definitely give it a go! I've noticed that's the sweet spot for this bike ;)
@@nabutani When I just got my 883 I was craving that signature HD potato sound so much, I was choking the engine trying to cruise around at 1700-1900 RPMs. It took some time to get a feeling for the power/torque band and now I rarely go below 2700 and trying to stay closer to the maximum torque levels in the corners at 3300. Letting that v-twin sing away while exiting the corners took some time to get accustomed to, but now it's my favorite. Just curious how you've approached it from the other end a bit, but nothing critical. Enjoy the ride!
Great sound!
Thanks man!
Love the bike man.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
bro this is amazing
Eyy thank you bro, I appreciate it haha!!
I like this videos. No speak. Thanks For this man. Lol😅
Just pure engine noise, the stuff that put us kind of people to sleep haha! Enjoy 🥹😂!
Very cool bike dude!
Eyy thank you haha!
I really do love Harley Davidson I love the desings the models the sounds and all, is a bien I really love
Yeah I used to always be a Yamaha boy but they definitely made me a Harley Guy now! I love them, especially the sound!
@@nabutani that's the best part, my goal for the future is went to United States to live and live the life how it is, I usted too to be a Sportbikes boy, but seeing this bikes, gives me such a good and quiet vibes of enjoying the road
I am the same sports bike are cool but this different! In the future if I’m still around and you come to the states let me know. I would love to meet up!
@@nabutani Yeah that would be cool, there still some few years left but i'm sure time will past fast trough, wish to meet you too, in the future we can talk more better about this brother!
Those back fires though!... I hope your engine is ok!
At the the time of this video, the dealrership sold me bad bike. It's been fixed since though. It's running fine now thanks, I really enjoy those decel pops! Thinking of getting a fuel tuner...Maybe?
Саме краще відео що я бачив
Thanks haha!
what brand and model of recording setup besides the gopro 11?
Hey I’m literally only using the GoPro with foam. No extra setups, I tried others because I wanted to Motovlog but none worked. That’s why I make pure sound videos haha
Hey, nice ride video, subscribed. Hello from Turkey :)
Hey thanks man!!
It looks like your new to riding you'll get better but as a mechanic the valve rattle is like nails on a chalkboard keep the rpm lower shift early good job on getting off the line see a lot of people slipping the clutch unnecessarily
Thanks for the tips! I hope to get better on the bike!
The sporty loves high revs! It’s a damn 5 speed… I run mine like a raped ape tuned for 18k miles and she sounds the same as day 1
The sportster don’t do well under 2500rpm, the rpm range is high for that reason, 3500-4500 is normal cruising range
That’s what a slip clutch is for
Gostei muito desses tipos de videos
Obrigado Bro
Keep safety brooo....nice riding
Thank you bro, I will.
Sound 😈☝️ Best 😋
Mwahaha 🥶🦾 thanks haha
i find it interesting that a v2 at high revs sounds a lot like a v10
Dodge charger sound is the best ❤😂

I have a question, how do you get the sound? I also have a 48 and my go pro just picks up the wind and that's it. I have a go pro silver 7. Is that not good for that kind of sound or? Do you just use your go pro 11 and that's it?
I use a windslayer foam for the go pro link should be in description
@@nabutani ahh gotcha thanks brother!
Just curious on where you got the bars?
I’m making a walk around soon, that will have the links to everything this bike has! Put the bell notifications on so you don’t miss out! They are very cheap also!
I never like motorcycles at all but the Harley’s Davidson are really good, nice ride 💪🏼
Yeah I know what you mean, they just have a different vibe to them! Thank you ☺️

What year is this model?
Hey this is a 2015
Beautiful bike, amazing sound, I was thought to always use Two fingers for the clutch and front brake, It removes the temptation of Clinching on the brakes and clutch, and you still have some type of control of the handles. Best of luck to you, ride safe
That's a great idea!
Is there any missing on your engine ?
I’m not sure, I’ve booked it into the mechanics as I bought it like that.
This may have just solidified me getting a gropro 11 to film my rides and events
Eyy I’m glad you enjoy it and yeah most definitely a worthwhile investment!
Does anyone have his jacket reference please ? Really like the yellow style :)
It’s from the UK it’s a windslayer from H&M

No Mic straight from GoPro with foam cover

A helpful tip. Whenever coming to a stop throw the bike in neutral and let off the clutch. Don’t burn your clutch out man! Anyways great video and beautiful bike

How do you avoid the wind noise on your GoPro?
GoPro Foam it’s sounds silly but you can hear it. No extra processing and no extra cables!
so they're not making these 48's anymore nor the irons
Yeah sadly but old ones are still pretty good
where did you get those handle bar??
I got them from Amazon for like 60 bucks

ive always been a sport bike guy but sportsters with ape hangers just seem so right
Yeah same and I know what you mean!!
I see what the others are saying. Grab the next gear and play in the torque band in the lower rpm, it sounds stressed up high like that. Other than that it sounds good.
yeah same, the more I ride her the more I realize it's not an MT07 haha. Thanks for the tip, really appreciate it!
@@nabutani You can still ride the high-rev range, but you have to make sure you're moving. Aircooling and all that.
Yeah much agreed because they got hot very quick!
@@AudioArcturia I've noticed that my 883 produces the lowest amount of vibrations around the maximum torque level at 3200-3300 RPMs and I never cruise below 2700. Would you say it's still high/stressed levels? Because highway riding on 5th gear easily pushes it to 4200 where I'd need it to sit for quite some time.
@@LtKim the 883 isn't made for highway cruising - the 5th gear is more or less an overdrive 4, which is still fine. The biggest enemy to the Evo motor isn't high revs, it's heat. As long as you're going fast enough to keep the engine cool, cruising 5000rpm or more is okay. But you may want to get an oil cooler. The XL1200 Harleys don't have an issue with 5th gear, however. It's a fair bit more stout.
I'm bouta start getting into ridin just nervous on takeoff, I drive manual and all but I don't wanna be one of those people who gets on one clutch dump it and fall off, just used to the clutch control with your foot instead of a hand
Ahh if you’re good with manual cars, you will find it much easier using your hands. It would become second nature! Don’t be afraid to make mistakes but also start off slowly, no rush. Just don’t panic and go easy on the throttle, work on clutch control.
Meet me off of independence blvd bro! I need a riding buddy and I have a roadster!
Ahh man I tried looking for people to ride with also. I’m in Charlotte now though, no longer in Columbia 🥲
